Mangaluru, Apr 3: A Congress Corporator from Mangaluru City Corporation has lodged a complaint against three senior BJP leaders for allegedly defaming her by misrepresenting her picture in a political ‘charge sheet’ released by the saffron party recently.

Prathibha Kulai, who represents Hosabettu ward in the MCC, in her complaint submitted to Mangaluru City Police Commissioner T.R. Suresh on Monday, named Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, Karnataka BJP president B.S. Yeddyurappa, and Karnataka BJP general secretary Shobha Karandlaje as accused.

Ms Kulai alleged that the BJP has wrongly used her photograph in the charge sheet referring to the alleged harassment to BBMP councillors Manjula Narayanaswamy and Mamata Vasudev.
