Kottayam, Jun 3: Kerala Government has ordered a probe into a women patient's allegation that she was administered the first dose of chemo medicine without confirming cancer at the Government Medical College hospital here.
State Health Minister KK Shylaja ordered the probe after receiving a complaint from the patient hailing from Alappuzha that she was treated on the basis of a test conducted at a private lab, sources said here on Monday.
Meanwhile, a lab report from the Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) in Thiruvananthapuram ruled out any signs of malignancy.
