Ram Mandir: VHP to hold massive rally in Bengaluru on Nov 25

Bengaluru, Nov 10: Vishva Hindu Parishat will hold a massive rally in Bengaluru on November 25 demanding the Union government to come out with a notification to remove all obstruction for construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, VHP Secretary General Milind Parande said here on Saturday.

Addressing a press conference here, he said that the public meeting will be attended by Sants, Sanyasis, Ram Bhakts, famous personalities.

He said that Hindu society continued the struggle since year 1528 AD to build Sri Ram temple on the Ram Janmabhumi site in Ayodhya.

"Since last 68 years, cases have been pending in various courts including the Supreme Court.

It has been proved beyond doubt on the basis archaeological evidence that a Hindu temple stood at the disputed site before it was demolished in the year 1528 by the foreign Muslim invader Babar".

Chikkamagaluru, Jul 22: Nine staff of the Anti Naxal Force (ANF) in Koppa in the district were tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday.

Health officials said that these people don’t have any contacts outside as they were in the forest buffer zone. Now efforts were being made to find out how they contacted the Coronavirus.

Meanwhile, the Kalsa police station has been sealed down after four of its personnel tested positive.

Bengaluru, Jul 1: Faced with increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the State Capital, Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court Justice A S Okha has decided the Court to function online.

Registrar General Rajendra Badamikar, in the notice issued here on Wednesday, based on order of the Chief Justice, stated that the emergency cases will be conducted through video conference until the next order.

The order also specifies that only the principal seat (Bengaluru) will be conducting proceedings online. High Court benches at Dharwad and Kalaburagi will continue to function as usual.

Mangaluru, Mar 14: Following the avian flu outbreak in neighboring Kerala, authorities at Pilikula Biological Park in Moodushedde, on the outskirts of the city, have taken all precautionary measures to prevent the death of birds in the park.

Park Director H J Jayaprakash Bhandari said that "the behaviour of the birds is being monitored near open water sources on the premises'.

Though no deaths were reported in the Zoo or on lake premises, the staff continue to maintain a strict vigil on open water sources like lakes. He said the Park was being sanitized.
