Bengaluru, Dec 17: Veteran Kannada journalist Ravi Belagere, who was admitted to Jayadeva Hospital on December 13, is still being treated there.
Meanwhile, the interim bail of Belagere, who has been charged with conspiring to murder his colleague Sunil Heggaravalli, has been extended till December 18.
He was arrested by the CCB on December 8 and was taken to Bengaluru Central Prison at Parappana Agrahara. He stayed in the hospital ward of the prison as he had complained of multiple ailments.
A sessions court in the city had earlier granted him interim bail on medical grounds until December 16. The court has extended it by two days.

Mangaluru, May 25: Four domestic flights that were scheduled to operate from Mangaluru International Airport today have been cancelled.
A total of six flights were scheduled to depart Mangaluru Airport today.
Among them, two flights to Mumbai, one to Chennai and one to Bengaluru were cancelled due to lack of passengers and other reasons, sources said.
The remaining two flights – both to Bengaluru – are expected to take off with limited passengers later in the day.
Domestic flight operations resumed in the country today after a gap of two months. All flight operations had ceased when the nationwide lockdown was imposed in March.

Kasaragod medical college likely to be convert into COVID-19 hospital

Kasaragod, Apr 6: Even as the number of positive cases of Novel Coronovirus is on increase in this district, the ten-member medical team from Thiruvananthapuram on Monday will inspect and review modalities to convert the proposed Kasaragod medical college into a COVID-19 hospital.
Given the constraints being faced by the district hospital in Kanhangad near here, the 200-beded Kasaragod medical college hospital in Ukkinada near here would be equipped to cater to the Covid-19 patients on isolation.
The ten member medical experts who reached here late on Sunday, are on a special mission to immediately equip the hospital as to convert it as a Covid-19 centre.

Issue of return of NRKs taken to Centre, hoping favourable response: Kerala CM

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 27: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Sunday said the issue of return of Non-Resident Keralites (NRKs) to the state has been taken up with the Centre and the state government is awaiting a favourable response.
Vijayan said this in a meeting with Non-Resident Keralites over steps taken by the state government for those wishing to return to the state from foreign countries.
The Chief Minister announced that the Department of Non-Resident Keralites Affairs has opened online registration for such NRKs.
"Those returning should undergo screening at airports. All those returning should undergo mandatory home quarantine for 14 days.
Arrangements of isolation wards will be provided for those unable to go home," said Vijayan.
