Remember Babri Masjid demolition: IFF

Dammam, Dec 9: India Fraternity Forum, Karnataka Chapter organized a seminar on ‘denial of justice for 21 years’ marking the Babri Masjid demolition,  at Al-Ahsaand Khafji, Khobar, Dammam, on December 6. During the seminar the speakers reiterated the need to endlessly forward the pledge of building Babri Masjid at the same place.

The speakers apart from alleging the involvement of legislature, executive and the judiciary in the demolition and how the judiciary system in specific showed clear discrimination among various communities, said that all Indian had to fight back to re-establish the Masjid at the same place so as to undo the damages done to the Constitution due to the demolition.

“We will never forget Babri Masjid and will not let others forget, until its reconstructed at the same place,” the speakers made the audience take the pledge.

Hundreds of the people participated in Babri Seminar across Eastern province. The Seminar began with the recitation of Quran. Mr. Fayaz N. presented Seminar in Kannada language in Dammam and Khobar, Moulavi Amir Qasimi was the Guest Speaker in Dammam . Mr. Saleem GK. delivered the subject in Al Hasa while Mr. Habeeb Hyder addressed at Kafji in Kannada, Muneer Kerala in Malayalam and Yousuf in Urdu language. IFF volunteers facilitated the smooth conduct of the event.  There were stalls displaying books, CDs in different Indian languages to remind the memories of Babri Masjid and Indian Justice.

Mangaluru, May 22: An elderly cardiac patient from Dakshina Kannada, who was stranded in Saudi Arabia due to covid-19 lock-down, has finally reached his homeland thanks to the timely intervention by Humanity Forum Jubail and Indian Social Forum.

The elderly man hailing from Kadaba area of Dakshina Kannada was admitted to a hospital in Madinah. However, his condition continued to worsen due to lack of proper treatment. The efforts by his family members to bring him back home had not yielded results.

Meanwhile, one of the relatives of the patient, Ansari Suratkal, who happens to be a DKSC activist, brought the issue to the notice of the Karnataka unit of the Indian Social Forum in Dammam. ISF contacted Humanity Forum president Zakariya Jokatte, who helped the patient to speak directly union minister D V Sadananda Gowda in a video conference organised by coastaldigest.com.

Humanity Forum also persuaded the Indian Embassy to allow the stranded cardiac patient to fly back to India through Dammam-Bengaluru repatriation flight on May 20. 

However, it was not easy for the patient to travel from Madinah to Dammam International Airport due to lock-down and curfew. ISF not only obtained travel permission for him but also arranged vehicle. Jeddah and Riyadh units of ISF helped in obtaining permission letter in their respective places in spite of travel ban imposed by the police. Madinah unit of ISF arranged vehicle for transportation. Zakariya Jokatte bore the air ticket and other expenses of the patient.

Markaz Al Madeena Association, Eastern province, conducted JALS-E-UCHILA get together program at Dammam, Saudi Arabia on March 5,2020 on account of celebrating 28 years of social service dedicated by the organization.

The event chairman Noushad Uchil inaugurated the function. The organization president presided the program and delivered talk about the intention of the organization. Hashim Uchil has intorduced the social and academic contribution of the organization of past 28 years. Jamal Uchil welcomed the gathering and Ismail G.I. host the program.

Games, Quiz and prize distribution to the winners and senior social workers was the special attraction of the event. The planning committee of the event includes Iqbal, Farooq, Shahul Hameed, Ramza, Nabeel, Afthar, Ashraf and Shafi.

Dubai: Karnataka Sports & Cultural Club (KSCC) distributed Eid Kit across the UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah to the ) needy people on Eid al Fitr.

KSCC President Mr. Mohammed Ismail Said: “Eid is a Symbol of Gratitude and Unity. As the last few weeks have been hard for each one of us, we wanted to stand in solidarity to celebrate Eid, by helping labours and needy people. He also said that “We are together to be part of UAE. Serving these meals is our core social responsibility."

KSCC recently conducted humanitarian services during COVID-19 pandemic in 2 phases and conducted Blood Donation Drive. They have also planned to conduct next Blood Donation Drive on 25th May, 2020.

The KSCC main objective is to develop the expatriate community into a well-nourished section of society in the areas of social, sports and cultural activities.
