Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 27: In a shocking revelation, a former activist of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has claimed that his organisation forced him to indulge in anti-social activities such as attacking religious centres of non-Hindus, and then tried to kill him for political gains.

The victim of the venomous ideology is S Vishnu (25), hailing from Karakulam Panchayat in Thiruvananthapuram, who had been visiting the RSS since he was seven years old.

According to Vishnu, who is currently undergoing treatment at the Thiruvananthapuram General Hospital, RSS started torturing him after he repented for his hate crimes and started opposing illegal activities of Sangh Parivar.

He revealed that he was confined by the RSS workers for about 38 days, and he was forced to write a “suicide note” blaming CPI (M) Kannur district secretary P Jayarajan. The intention of the saffron outfit was to kill Vishnu and gain political mileage by holding their opponents responsible for the murder, he said.

“RSS workers had pelted stones at a Pentecost church last year with the intention of creating communal violence in Kerala. I was also an accused in the case. I did that because they asked me to do so. I am also an accused in blocking a vehicle that brought buffaloes to be used during the holy month of Ramadan. Though I did all this at their behest, later I questioned all this and they were not happy about me since then,” he alleged.

Mr Vishnu said that he and a few others, who quit RSS were receiving threats. “It was then that RSS member Kannan, an accused in the murder of CPI (M) member Kannur Dhanraj, came to Thirivananthapuram. He had been trying to create problems in the area by destroying the BJP flags and putting the blame on CPI(M). We had questioned that. We also informed police about his activities,” he alleged.

He alleged that after that incident, RSS workers plotted against him and tried to kill him. “Many leaders including BJP leader Saju assaulted me. Later, they took me to Neyyantinkara. There, some other leaders questioned me asking how I am related to P Jayarajan. To prepare a magazine, I had met many prominent political leaders including P Jayarajan and many other Muslim League and BJP leaders. But I had no other contacts with him,” he said.

Vishnu says that RSS workers took him to different places in Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram districts and kept him in illegal confinement. He added that they asked him to obey what the Sangh says and claimed that they tortured him for about 86 hours without giving food or allowing him to sleep.

“I begged them not to kill me. But they said they would abandon me in the middle of the sea,” he says, expressing remorse for foolishly working for RSS for 18 years.

He said that he escaped from their clutches on January 22, when all RSS workers went to visit Amritanandamayi near Vallikkavu. “I knew that they would kill me. They were telling me that I would be handed over to RSS workers in Kannur. So, when I got a chance, I escaped,” he said.

This is thr true face of most RSS, the most terrorist organisation in India. 99 percent of anti social issues / riots / clashes occuring in india are organised by this terror grup. However, the police are in love with them and dont take any action.

Communals are blind. They can not hear anything against them even if it is truth. Many so called communals may be unaware of the truth. Therefore they blindly support communal forces.

This liar's rubbish story can find place only in anti-national media that are trying to divide India. Shame on the editor for providing faking news with the tagline of 'Trusted News Portal of India'. Better you change the tagline into 'Trusted News Portal of Pakistan.

Bengaluru, May 28: A complaint has been filed against BJP Karnataka state president and Lok Sabha member Nalin Kumar Kateel by the Congress Legislators charging him with issuing false information on Coronavirus to mislead the people.

The complaint was filed by MLCs Ivan D’Souza and Prakash Rathod at Vidhana Soudha police station on Thursday.

In the complaint they had alleged that “Kateel has been spreading false information that the position of World Health Organization’s (WHO) Chairman was given to India in appreciation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s achievement in Coronavirus management.

In reality, the position was given to India on the basis of rotation. India’s stature gets affected because of such childish statements at the international level.”

Bengaluru, Jan 5: A day after senior Congress leaders in Karnataka met to build consensus for the way ahead, the race for the post of KPCC President hotted up on Sunday with aspirants and their supporters stepping up efforts to secure the coveted posts.

Senior leader D K Shivakumar, seen as a frontrunner for the post, met former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at his residence amid reports that he was lobbying in favour of one of his confidants.

Meanwhile, another senior party legislator Satish Jarkiholi made it clear he was capable of discharging the responsibility if the high command asked him to do so.

Also, loyalists of senior leader and former Minister Ramalinga Reddy came up with social media posts, pushing forward his name for KPCC President.

Congress Legislature Party leader Siddaramaiah and state Congress chief Dinesh Gundu Rao quit their posts after the party fared poorly, winning only two of the 15 seats in the bypolls while it had held 12 of them.

According to party sources, though Siddaramaiah is likely to retain the position of Leader of Opposition, the CLP leader post may be given to some one else.

The sources also said replacement of KPCC President was most likely as Dinesh Gundu Rao's resignation could be accepted.

Shivakumar is seen as the frontrunner for the KPCC President post and has already held discussions with high command in this regard.

His meeting with Siddaramaiah, who is expected to travel to Delhi soon to hold discussions with the high command, assumes significance amid reports that the former chief minister was favouring one of his confidants for the post.

Shivakumar during the meeting sought Siddaramaiah's cooperation for his appointment to the coveted post, with a promise to work under his leadership, sources said.

However, speaking to reporters after the meeting, Shivakumar said he had worked under Siddaramaiah as legislator and Minister, and there was nothing special about the nearly two-hour-long meeting.

"...Im not a competitor for any post, I won't ask for any post, that time is over. I'm a karyakarta of the party and will work as karyakarta," he said in response to a question, adding he will abide by the party's decision.

On the other hand, Congressleader andYamakanamaradi MLASatish Jarkiholi said he was ready to take up the responsibility if the party high command decides so.

"It has been decided to cooperate and work under the leadership of anyone, whom the party high command decides (as President). Let's see, it is for the high command to decide (who will be KPCC President)," he said.

In response to a question from reporters in Belagavi if he was aspiring for the post, Jarikholi said, "I havent asked, but if given I will manage it efficiently..."

Meanwhile, loyalist of seven-time Congress MLA Ramalinga Reddy, came up with a social media post, demanding KPCC President post for the leader.

"Seven-time @INCKarnataka MLA and former Home Minister Sri @RLR_BTM for #KPCC President. #Congress #Karnataka #RamalingaReddy #BTMLayout #BBMP #Bengaluru," former Mayor of Bengaluru City and a close confidant of Reddy, B N Manjunatha Reddy tweeted.

Last year during the political turmoil faced by the coalition government, Ramalinga Reddy had threatened to resign, unhappy at being sidelined in the party.

He had later decided to stay with the Congress after the high command intervened.

With a virtual vacuum in the state Congress following the resignation of its top leadership after the rout in the recent Assembly bypolls, senior party leaders had met here on Saturday with an aim to build a consensus for the way ahead.

According to sources, the meeting was convened after instructions from the high command to iron out differences and build consensus on taking the party forward and regarding appointments to key posts, before coming to Delhi for discussions.

Senior leader K H Muniyappa and KPCC Working President Eshwar Khandreare seen as the other aspirants for the President post.

Ssenior leaders G Parameshwara along with H K Patil are among those seen as the frontrunners for the CLP leader post vacated by Siddaramaiah.
