Saudi: ‘Art Beat’ of Indian Social Forum (Karnataka) enthrals kids

Dammam: Indian social forum- Karnataka state in association with Lulu Hyper Market Jubail & Al khobar, organized “Art Beat” Coloring Competitionfor students of KG1, KG2 and Grade 1. For this unique event more than 200 children participated altogether in Jubail & Al Khobar, recently.

In Jubail: The Event in Lulu hypermarket-Jubail started at 7 pm and more than 80children participated in “Art Beat” Coloring Competition.Mahoom Arif secured first place, Elizabethsecond andZida Asif secured thirdplace. Indian Social forum central committee President Mr. Wasim Rabaani, Principle of Jubail Indian InternationalSchoolDr.Hameed and Mr. AkbarSaidu Muhammed general manager of Lulu hypermarket Jubail distributed the Prizes among the winners.

In Khobar: The Event in Lulu hypermarket-Alkhobar started at 7 pm and more than 100 children participated in “Coloring Competition.ShizaMariyam secured first place followed by ShanviC and AreejAbdul Mateen respectively for second and third place .Mr. WasimRabbani president central committee Indian Social forum, Dr.E.k. Mohammed Shafi- Principleof IndianInternationalSchoolAl Khobar and Mohammed Rafiq-General Manager of Lulu hypermarket Al Khobar distributed the prizeamong the winners.

Indian Social forum Karnataka state expressed its gratitudeto Lulu Hyper Market & all the guests for providing an opportunity to organize Children’s Day for expat children in the kingdom.

The program was compered by Mohammed Azharuddin, memberof Indian social forum Karnataka State.

Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club (KSCC) organized Blood Donation Camp at Latifa Hospital, Oud Mehta Dubai on April 23rd, 2020 in association with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and with support from Community Development Authority (CDA) Government of Dubai.

Blood Donation Drive started in the morning at 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Around 48 people participated in this drive and donated blood to support the Dubai Blood Bank.

A potential shortage of blood for transfusions has been occurred due to a significant reduction in voluntary blood donations during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic. The current pandemic, health services are now running with shortages of blood availability. To support the DHA Blood Bank KSCC taken initiative to ensure that blood donations continued and are safe for both the donor and the recipient.

After taking safety precaution and safe distance during the blood donation donors feeling happy and honored to participate and donate blood at this pandemic situation. Club Manager Mr. Mohammad Shafi was also present during this event.

KSCC appreciated all the blood donors and be grateful to Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Community Development Authority (CDA), and Government of Dubai for their association for this event. They also thanked the volunteers and supporters.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter distributed Food Kits for Indian expatriates labors who were in trouble due to Corona lockdown on April 6, 2020 at a labor camp here in Al Khobar.

The labors, most of them are from the staes of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh And Uttar Pradesh, were in trouble without food.

 Recieving the information leaders of Indian Social Forum immediately visited the camp to take survey.

Indian Social Forum with the help of donors distributed food kits. Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka Chapter president Mr.Mohammed Shareef Jokatte expressed gratitude for donors for their contribution.
