Mangaluru, Jul 17: A Saudi Arabia-bound Air India Express flight from Mangaluru today made an emergency landing at Mumbai International Airport after a woman passenger was taken ill.
"There was an emergency landing due to a medical reason today. The IX 885 flight that was flying to Saudi’s Dammam from Karnataka’s Mangaluru had a woman passenger who reported sick mid-air," an official told coastaldigest.com.
The pilot was forced to make the emergency landing after the 22-year-old female passenger started screaming unable to bear severe to stomach ache. Kidney stone is said to be the reason for the sudden pain.
