Shah Rukh Khan slams ‘crappy journalism’ for made-up fight with Jaya Bachchan!

Shah Rukh KhanMumbai, Nov 10: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has slammed in harsh words a media report that alleged that he turned down an apology from the Bachchans over Jaya Bachchan’s purported remark that 'Happy New Year' is the most nonsensical film.

It has to be granted that some in the media have gone overboard in stretching a made-up fight between Shah Rukh Khan and the Bachchans to an unimaginable limit.

A latest media report alleges that Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai visited Shahrukh Khan’s Mannat to apologize for Jaya Bachchan’s comment made earlier this week at a literature festival in Mumbai.

The said report alleges that SRK refused to meet Abhishek and Aishwarya, even though they stayed for a long time waiting with Gauri Khan. If that’s not it, the report even goes on to state that SRK didn’t even care to reply to a text message from Amitabh Bachchan, apologizing to him for Jaya Bachchan’s comment.

Shah Rukh Khan linked that story on his Twitter page and tweeted, “(I) have not read a more crappy, made up piece of journalism lately.” The superstar also added Twitter handles of Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan to the post.

Jaya Bachchan’s statement at the literature festival was taken out of context and given an anti-‘HNY’ twist by the rumourmongers, and that fact hasn’t gone down well with the Bachchans on the one hand and Shah Rukh Khan on the other.

As for now, things remain cordial between the two parties.

New Delhi, Jun 2: 'Dabangg' actor Sonakshi Sinha was showered with greetings as she turned 33 on Tuesday.

Sonakshi's father and veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha took to social media to express gratitude that the family is spending time together during the lockdown period.

"This week is very special for my family, as we have a lot to thank for during this lockdown period. The family got to really spend some good quality time together," the veteran actor tweeted.

"Today we all celebrate our darling @sonakshisinha Sona's birthday. May she always be positive & abundantly blessed," his tweet further reads.

Actor Preity Zinta also made sure that she wishes the 'Kalank' actor as she posted a picture with her on Instagram.

"Happy Birthday my darling Sona. Wish you all the wonderful things, today and always. Keep Smiling and shining always. Love you loads @aslisona," the 'Kya Kehna' actor wrote in the caption.

Fashion designer Manish Malhotra also posted a picture of himself with Sonakshi on his Instagram stories and wrote, "@aslisona Happy Birthday Beautiful."

Actor Huma Qureshi too extended birthday greetings to Sonakshi by posting a picture with her on her Instagram stories.

Huma wished her friend in what seems like a code language as she wrote, "You are...this friendship..how to...Love...Dosti.." along with the picture.

"Don't want to use words, you know what I mean..right@aslisona," she further wrote.

Sonakshi was last seen in the third installment of her hit film series 'Dabangg' which was released last year in December.

New Delhi, Jun 22: Musician Madonna, who is a mother of six, wished herself on the occasion of Father's Day on Sunday by posting adorable pictures with her kids.

Along with pictures, the 'Crazy For You' singer penned down a beautiful caption, wishing herself and every parent a 'Happy Father's Day' for nurturing and guiding their children in the best way possible.

"Happy Fathers Day to Me and to every parent out there doing their best to Nurture, Guide, Inspire, and Teach! #Lola #Rocco #David #Mercyjames #Estere #Stella," the 61-year-old singer wrote in the caption.

Madonna is the biological mother to two of her six children and has adopted the rest four.

She had adopted her first child Davida Banda back in 2006 and then she adopted a boy in 2009. The last addition to her family were the twins she adopted from Malawi.

Mumbai, Aug 7: Bhojpuri actress Anupama Pathak has died allegedly by suicide in Dahisar East, her Mumbai residence on August 2.

The police have recovered a suicide note.

Initially, an accidental death case was registered which was later converted into FIR under section 306 (abetment of suicide) of IPC against a person and a company, the police said.

Further investigation by Mumbai's Kashimira Police is underway.
