Shahid Kapoor to get married this year

Mumbai, Mar 27: Actor Shahid Kapoor has spoken out on rumours about his wedding plans and has confirmed that he may be finally settling down by the end of the year.

At an awards event held here on Thursday, Shahid was asked if he has got engaged.

Shahid marriedTo that, he said: "I am not engaged, but what you have been reading is kind of true. Marriage is on the cards sometimes towards the end of the year and I think that's all I can say."

Shahid, who was earlier in a relationship with Kareena Kapoor, is rumoured to be getting married to Delhi student Mira Rajput.

But when probed further about any details about their relationship and plans of nuptials, he said: "I refrain from getting into details. I thought that since I am here today, it was important to acknowledge it in front of the media, so I am doing that.

"Other than that, she is a normal girl and I am a normal guy, and we should treat it like something normal and regular. It's my personal space and I won't get into the details. I'm just happy to announce it," he added.

Shahid-starrer 'Haider' was named for five National Film Awards earlier this week. Meanwhile, he's busy with his new film 'Udta Punjab'.

Mumbai, Jul 12: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sealed actor Rekha’s bungalow in suburban Bandra after a security guard there tested positive for coronavirus, a civic official said on Sunday.

The guard at the 65-year-old actor’s bungalow ‘Sea Springs’ tested positive on Tuesday, the official said.

The BMC has put a board outside the premises declaring the are as a containment zone. The security guard has been hospitalised at the BMC’s COVID-19 care facility in Bandra Kurla Complex, he said.

As the bungalow is a standalone one, only a portion of it has been sealed, he said.

New Delhi, Jun 24: Actor Bhumi Pednekar supported migrant labourers traveling long distances amid the coronavirus pandemic, in a rather unique way- by donating footwear to them.

The gut-wrenching images of migrants walking barefoot on the roads made the 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' actor take the plunge to help them.

Pednekar joined hands with a footwear company and a volunteer-based non-government organisation - The Robin Hood Army - to help the underprivileged with footwear.

The actor helped over 1000 migrant labourers in and around Ghaziabad in Murad Nagar, Govindpuram, Vijay Nagar, and distributed footwear among men and women across age-groups.

New Delhi, May 25: Sending out good wishes on the auspicious of Eid, actor Sara Ali Khan on Sunday shared a priceless childhood throwback picture, along with her picture from the current days.

The 'Simmba' star put out the cute picture on Instagram where she is seen clad in a pink hijab, while on the other hand, the second picture features the younger Sara as she is seen sporting a black dupatta while she tries to imitate the younger self.

Along with the picture, she wrote," Eid Mubarak," and urged people to stay safe by staying at home and urged them to stay positive amid the COVID-19 outbreak with "#staysafe #stayhome #staypositive."

The post on the photo-sharing platform garnered more than one lakh likes within an hour of being posted.

Lately, the 'Kedarnath' star has been keeping her fans updated on her quarantine activities by sharing pictures and videos of her quarantine activities.

Earlier, Sara took a trip down the memory lane and reminisced her graduation day by sharing throwback pictures from the ceremony.
