Taapsee Pannu on trolls:' Let's not kill their humour by expecting them to change'

Mumbai, Jul 17: Actress Taapsee Pannu finds trolls on social media entertaining. A social media troll called Taapsee a "cheap actor" and that her "mental state is not right".

"Ok sir. When are you giving me therapy sessions. And in the bargain also tell how to become an 'expensive' actor. Inflation toh mere mein bhi hona chahiye na," went Taapsee's witty reply.

A fan of the actor said that she should ignore trolls because they were not going to change.

"But I don't want them to change. They are so entertaining! Let's not kill their humour by expecting them to change. They provide us with so much of content! How to use it is up to us," the actress replied to her fan.

This is not the first time Taapsee has hit back at trolls.

On the acting front, she currently awaits the release of her next film Saand Ki Aankh, based on world's oldest sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar. The Reliance Entertainment film also stars Bhumi Pednekar.

The social media sensation committed suicide on June 25 at her residence in Delhi. The reason behind her death is still unknown and, as per the latest reports, the police investigation is underway.

The tragic news has made her fans extremely sad and, condolences are pouring in across social media. She had over 1.1 million followers on TikTok and 113k followers on Instagram.

Kochi, Feb 7: The younger brother of noted playback singer K J Yesudas was found dead in the backwaters near here, police said.

The body of 62-year old K J Justin, who had reportedly gone missing from his house in Thrikkakara near here on Tuesday evening was found floating in the backwaters near Vallarpadam Container Terminal on Wednesday, they said.

The relatives identified the body, police said adding it was later sent for autopsy at General Hospital here.

A General Hospital spokesperson said the body was handed over to his relatives on Thursday evening after autopsy was performed.

The funeral is expected to be held after the arrival of Yesudas from abroad, police sources said.

Police said the initial investigation suggested it was a case of suicide.

According to police, Jusin's relatives have informed the investigation team that he had been showing signs of suicidal tendency for the last one week as he was allegedly facing some financial problem.

His relatives were not available for comments.

Son of the renowned musician late Augustine Joseph, Justin is survived by his wife.

Justin had been a regular presence at popular ganamela programmes here in the past, sources said.

New Delhi, Apr 2: Singer-songwriter Justin Bieber on Thursday announced that he is postponing all of his scheduled 2020 concerts for his 'Changes Tour' due to the global outbreak of coronavirus.

The singer took to Instagram and posted a statement on the platform to make an announcement in the regard.

"In light of the current public health crisis. And with the deepest concern for all those being affected. Justin Bieber will be postponing all currently scheduled 2020 dates for the changes tour," read a statement.

"While Justin -along with his band. Dancers and crew - has been hard at work preparing an amazing show. He has always put the health and well-being of his fans first and foremost," the statement further read.

The statement also said that the 'Cold Water' singer, "is anxiously awaiting the opportunity to get back out on the road and perform in a space that is safe for everyone."
Bieber asked all his fans to hold on to their tickets as the dates of the tour will soon be rescheduled.

According to the World Health Organisation, COVID-19 has affected over 8,27,419 people globally and has spread to almost 206 countries.
