Bengaluru, Mar 7: The NewGen of Twitter users and others often using the social media, including the first time voters in Karnataka, will form good percentage in the coming Lok Sabha Elections and their awareness may influence the voting pattern.
A study conducted by Twitter India, serving the public conversation and its youth engagement initiative ‘#power of 18’ reflects on youth sentiment in Karnataka on the social media.
A release from Twitter India said on Thursday that 60.5 per cent of the Twitter users surveyed in Karnataka would actively engage and raise concerns to the government on issues that affect them or their community.
This was against 29.3 per cent of those who were not on the platform, a press release said here on Thursday.
