Bengaluru, Feb 19: The United Arab Emirates has evinced interest in investing in infrastructure development, establishment of food parks and low-income housing projects in the south Indian state of Karnataka.
UAE Ambassador Ahmed Al Banna on Monday called on chief minister H D Kumaraswamy at his home office Krishna in Bengaluru and held discussion on this regard.
A note from the CM’s office said that Mr Kumaraswamy informed the delegation that UAE’s investment in Karnataka has increased over the years and the State has been exporting flowers, vegetables, and fruits to European countries and he looks forward to UAE’s investment in these areas too.
