London: The United Kingdom national committee of Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF) UK came into existence during recently held Meelad Conference at White Chapel, Wickham in London.

KCF is a socio cultural organization uniting Kannadiga expatriates around the globe under one roof. It has already established a core INC international council, national, zone and sector wings in Malasiya, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar.

Dr AP Abdul Hakeem Azhari officially declared the new KCF UK Committee and congratulated the new committee board members.

KCF UK National Committee is as follows: Rafeeq Haleyangadi-Suratkal (President); Sadakathulla Nelligudde-Bantwal (General Secretary); Asharf Amani-Belthangadi (Organizational President); Abbas Makyar-Thalapady (Organizational Secretary); Asif Bajpe (Treasurer).

KCF London Executive committee Members are: Shafi Abdullah, Kalandar sheriff, HashimUjire, Umarcha, Faisal, HasibUllal, Kasman, Mohammad, Alika, Yusuf, Abdul Rahman, Mohideen.

Renowned scholar of England Khalid Sheikh Imran Hussain inaugurated the event, Sahul welcomed the gathering. Gafoor proposed the vote of thanks.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter organized a "Live along with COVID-19" webinar on 29 May 2020 in association with HealthCare Polyclinic, Dammam.

The webinar at Zoom App. featured over 150+ resident Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia's eastern and neighboring provinces.

Dr. Shailendranath made a presentation on the program and gave useful information. Indian Social Forum Dammam, Karnataka Chapter President Sharif Joktake delivered the keynote address. General Secretary Irshad Jokatte stalled the program.

Markaz Al Madeena Association, Eastern province, conducted JALS-E-UCHILA get together program at Dammam, Saudi Arabia on March 5,2020 on account of celebrating 28 years of social service dedicated by the organization.

The event chairman Noushad Uchil inaugurated the function. The organization president presided the program and delivered talk about the intention of the organization. Hashim Uchil has intorduced the social and academic contribution of the organization of past 28 years. Jamal Uchil welcomed the gathering and Ismail G.I. host the program.

Games, Quiz and prize distribution to the winners and senior social workers was the special attraction of the event. The planning committee of the event includes Iqbal, Farooq, Shahul Hameed, Ramza, Nabeel, Afthar, Ashraf and Shafi.

Doha: Selvam aged 46 son of Subramanian hailing from Panakulam Village, Alangudi, Pudukkottai District in Tamilnadu province who worked as a technician, died in Qatar on April 24.

Due to challenging situation prevailing in both India & Qatar for body repatriation services, especially in Covid-19 atmosphere, Family is unable to progress further for past 2 months. At his stage Family of the deceased met Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), Pudukkottai office bearers and requested to intervene and help out, and also agreed to bury the body in Qatar itself.

Hence, SDPI delegates communicated with well-known Indian Expatriate welfare Organization - Qatar Indian Social Forum (QISF). QISF General Secretary Basheer Ahamed, Secretary Abdullatheef Madikeri and team collected the required documents from the family of the deceased and managed to clear all the necessary formalities from the police department, Health Department, Embassy of India and Hamad Medical Corporation within a short period of time and arranged for a peaceful burial of Mr. Selvam in Dukhan cemetery.
