USA: Mangalorean Konkan Christian Association’s Easter on Apr 15

Mangalorean Konkan Christian Association, USA, will be celebrating Easter on April 15, Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at the Courtland Square Club House, 8909 David Place, Des Plaines, Illinois.

EASTER 2017

There will be an Easter Vigil by Fr Henry Sequeira with the blessing of fire and water. After Mass there will be a cultural program for young adults with Easter Bunny entertainment.

MKCA will provide an open bar with soft and hot drinks. MKCA will also have appetizers and dinner with dukramaas and sonnam, stated a media release.

I am a mangalorean who was brought up in Mumbai.  I have been living in the US for 17 years, out of which we live in Urbana, IL for 15 years.  We would like to attend activities planned by MKCA.  Also do you run a matrimonial's column as my sister from Canada (Ottowa) is looking for a mangalorean groom for her 25 year old daughter. Dubai, May 20: Dubai-based Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club’s humanitarian services in charge Naseer Karaje team have appreciated the efforts of Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner, Mangaluru Airport director, NGOs of Mangaluru, and MLA for extending a royal welcome to second batch of repatriates from Dubai that landed at Mangaluru Airport on May 18.

There was so much of confusions when 1st batch of repatriation flight landed in Mangaluru airport on 12th May due to lack of proper arrangements and co ordination.

This time due to proper arrangements and special supervision by the DC everything was driven smoothly. It has given a confidence to all the Manglurean expats of Dubai in returning to their native places, the KSCC said.
