Mumbai, Nov 21: The relationship between Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma has consumed a lot of space in the media lately, and on Thursday India’s batting superstar ended all speculation by stating that the two were indeed in a relationship.
Kohli made no bones about the fact that he was indeed seeing the Bollywood actor, but stressed that their privacy should be respected.
“It is out in the open (Jo hai sabke saamne hai abhi). We are not hiding anything, we are not trying to hide anything. I don’t want to hide anything. But if you get repeatedly asked on the same thing and if it is made a matter of debate then both the individuals don’t feel it is right,” Kohli said, while launching his own fashion line in Mumbai.
He said it was obvious that the two were in a relationship, but it was nothing that people should be too curious about.
“If you are seen together somewhere and still people ask ‘is it confirmed?’, then it is a matter of common sense. If you know then why ask the same question, that is our basic logic behind it.”
Earlier this month, during the third ODI against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad, Anushka was in the stands and Kohli blew a kiss in her general direction after reaching a half-century.
