Mangaluru, Mar 7: Continuing his spree of controversial statements, BJP leader and Union Minister Anant Kumar Hegde has said that the coming century would be a ‘Hindu century’.

The hardline Hindutva leader, who had called for elimination of Islam and change of India constitution in the past, was on Tuesday addressing party workers during the last day of the BJP’s Jana Suraksha Yatra at Kulai in Mangaluru. The rally culminated at Nehru Maidan later.

Me Hegde said that in the new ear people will witness a ‘Dharma Rajya’ where ‘Bhagavad Dhwaja’ will be fluttering. “Let anybody say anything, the coming century will be ours,” he added.

Mr. Hegde said the Hindu society has not been affected after “800 years of oppressive rule”. “Hindus are slow in rising up. But once we rise, the world falls at our feet.”

Recalling the murder of local youth Deepak Rao, following which Hindutva forces had murdered innocent elderly Muslim man Ahmed Basheer in Mangaluru, the minister said that the reaction would have been stronger but for democracy.

For we Hindus what do we have for follow and

What do we have to preach and propagate. Christianity and Islam have something truth with science.

So their strength is growing. Not only that many outsiders are attracted towards them.

We Hindus don’t have anything to sell.

It is the time, we should focus  to know why is it so.

  • Is the religion wrong ?
  • Or is the follower wrong,
  • Else what is wrong

if this trend continues, a day is imminent, where not only we,  all false religion will be vanished.

Be careful next century it will not  be Hindu Rashtra, It may be Non Hindu Rashtra.

Howe It can be Hindu Rashtra, when our people are attacking and killing all non-Hindus.

No one Hindu may remain. God Knows.

Bengaluru, Feb 13: UK's Chancellor of the Exchequer Sajid Javid quit the Boris Johnson government as part of a cabinet reshuffle unfolding on Thursday and has been replaced by Rishi Sunak, reports said.

Indian-descent Sunak, 39, who is married to Akshata, the daughter of Infosys co-founder N.R. Narayana Murthy, was Chief Secretary to the Treasury since July 2019.

An analyst with Goldman Sachs before joining politics in 2014, Sunak, whose grandparents were from Punjab and emigrated to the UK from east Africa, is MP from Richmond (Yorkshire). He was Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Local Government in the Theresa May government.

Pakistani-descent Javid, who became the first Asian to become a Cabinet Minister when he was made Secretary of State of culture, Media and Sports in the David Cameron government in 2014 after stints as Economic Secretary to the Treasury (2012-13) and Financial Secretary (2013-14), was earlier the Home Secretary in the the Theresa May government.

He had then cleared absconding businessman Vijay Mallya's extradition to India in February last year following the decision by the Westminister Magistrates Court in December 2018.

Javid, who ran for Conservative Party leadership after May quit but lost to Boris Johnson, was made Chancellor by the later. In the reshuffle on Thursday, he was offered to retain his post if he fired all his advisors but declined and quit, the BBC reported.

Apr 23: An FIR has been registered in Nagpur against Republic TV channel's editor Arnab Goswami for promoting social disharmony and accusing Congress President Sonia Gandhi of orchestrating the Palghar lynching.

Three Mumbai residents, including two sadhus, who were on their way to Silvassa on April 16, were lynched by a mob in Gadakchinchale village of Palghar district on the suspicion that they were thieves. Nagpur Police Commissioner B K Upadhyaya said they received a complaint which was turned into an FIR at Sadar police station.

DCP Vinita Sahu said Goswami has been booked under sections 117 (abetting commission of offence by the public or by more than 10 persons), 120 (B) (criminal conspiracy), 153 (A) (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony), 153 (B) (imputations, assertions prejudicial to national-integration), 295 (A) (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs), 290-A (public nuisance in cases not otherwise provided for), 500 (defamation), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the ipc. Another FIR was filed against him in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

In a statement condemning Goswami, Maharashtra Congress said the killing has been wrongly given a communal angle despite ample proof of the contrary. "At a time when country is fighting against coronavirus pandemic, it is very unfortunate that a section of media as well as politicians are trying to create social unrest... [and] spread racial and religious hatred in society. Goswami has tried to create misogyny against women in the society. He made an outrageous remark against the Congress president on a live TV programme. This is completely unethical journalism and we publicly protest it. We believe in brotherhood and cannot accept such animosity. This will be dangerous for the unity and integrity of the country (sic)," it said.
