Will launch 'new mission' after cabinet formation in Karnataka: Vijayvargiya

Jaipur, Jul 29: Commenting on the current political situation in Madhya Pradesh, BJP's national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya here on Sunday said a "new mission" will be launched after the cabinet formation in Karnataka, where the Congress-JD(S) alliance lost the confidence motion recently.

"After the formation of the cabinet in Karnataka, a new mission will be started. It is not our wish to make a government fall but Congress MLAs have uncertainty in themselves, he told reporters when questioned about the Congress-ruled Madhya Pradesh.

The MP leader said the Congress MLAs had no confidence in their leadership and were marred by division.

Therefore, they felt that the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was very good, he added.

The BJP leader further said the Congress and its governments were falling "due to their own works".

During his visit to the BJP office here, he held a meeting with party leaders and workers and also listened to PM's Mann ki Baat.

"New mission" meaning "horse trading".  BJP is Number one in this trade as they have crores of rupees in the party account received as bribe from industrialists in exchange of tax benefit to them.   Now BJP will offer crorers to other party MLAs in MP to get majority and topple Congress Govt.   BJP is ready to go any level for power.

Bengaluru, Mar 20: Two COVID-19 positive patients in Karnataka have fully recovered and will be discharged today.

Karnataka Medical Education Minister Dr K Sudhakar said: "Two COVID-19 positive patients have completely recovered and will be discharged tomorrow. They will be kept under home quarantine for 14 days as a precautionary measure."

The number of COVID-19 positive patients in Karnataka stands at 14 as of today.

"The total number of positive cases of COVID19 in India stands at 173, including 25 foreigners. Four deaths (1 each) have occurred in Delhi, Karnataka, Punjab and Maharashtra," said the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in a statement.

According to official data provided by the Ministry of Health, as many as 15 people infected with the virus have been discharged after receiving treatment.

Udupi, Jan 5: The district administration has identified 460 beneficiaries who will be allotted flats at Herga under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, informed MLA Raghupati Bhat.

Speaking to reporters here on Sunday he said the Udupi Municipal Council will construct the apartments in the 8.22 acres of land earmarked for the purpose at Herga. The flats will be ready before April 2021.

Mangaluru/ Udupi, June 19: As many as 13 fresh coronavirus positive cases were reported in Dakshina Kannada on June 19, taking the total number of cases in the coastal district to 414. In Udupi, the total number of covid cases mounted to 1,050 with 11 new cases.

Four among the 13 patients in Dakshina Kannada had returned from Saudi Arabia and seven had returned from Sharjah recently. Two others were suffering from an influenza-like illness (ILI). All the 13 patients have been shifted to the designated COVID hospital in Mangaluru.

In Udupi, three among the 11 new covid patients are children. Four are Maharashtra returnees and two had come from Tamil Nadu. Five others have contracted infection from other positive patients. 

Only 98 cases are currently active in Udupi among 1,050. As many as 950 patients have been discharged from hospital. Two deaths have occurred in the district including one on Friday.
