Mumbai, Mar 8: On International Women's Day on Tuesday, superstar Shah Rukh Khan said he often wishes to have been born a woman.

Khan"Often I wish I was a woman... Then realise I don't have enough guts, talent, sense of sacrifice, selfless love or beauty to be one. Thank you girls," Shah Rukh tweeted on Tuesday. He even spoke about it in a candid chat on #fame, a live video social platform, where he also discussed about the various things he is a fan of. The 50-year-old answered questions about his favourite movies, his favourite food, his favorite books, his craziest fans and more. Sharing a special message for International Women's Day, he said: "I am a fan of all the women in the world. I love each one of you equally. More power to women, more strength to women and more freedom to women, to make the choices and do the stuff they want to do. I want to thank all the women this Women's Day."

On the work front, Shah Rukh is gearing up for the release of his film 'Fan', which revolves around a young boy from Delhi named Gaurav who embarks on a journey to the city of dreams, Mumbai, in order to wish his favourite actor Aryan Khanna on his birthday. As Gaurav and as Aryan Khanna, Shah Rukh is ready to treat his real life fans with a dual avatar, and he has admitted that it took some doing to work on the make-up for his role as Gaurav. The film's trailer was launched by his fans at the Yash Raj Studios here on Monday. Directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra, 'Fan' also features Shriya Pilgaonkar among others. The film is slated for an April 15 release.

New Delhi, Jun 26: At a time when the nation has still not come to terms with Sushant Singh Rajput's death, a shocking case of 16-year-old TikTok star SIya Kakkar has shocked everyone. The social media sensation committed suicide on June 25 at her residence in Delhi. The reason behind her death is still unknown and, as per the latest reports, the police investigation is underway.

The tragic news has made her fans extremely sad and, condolences are pouring in across social media. "16 Year Old Tik Tok Star Siya Kakkar Commits Suicide.She had all the fame, over 1M followers on Tik Tok, a lakh followers on Insta. I just can't understand what is happening with people? Why would a 16 year old commit suicide? It is getting worse day by day. Om Shanti", wrote a Twitter user.

Another tweeted, "#siyakakkarSuicides are increasing day by day we have to put efforts to stop it.Please try to understand other peoples help them if they are worry Give them space if they http://need.Love selflessly".

She had over 1.1 million followers on TikTok and 113k followers on Instagram.

Mumbai, May 17: TV actor Manmeet Grewal, who worked on shows like "Aadat Se Majboor" and "Kuldeepak", committed suicide after struggling with dwindling finances amid lockdown, family friend-producer Manjit Singh Rajput said.

Grewal, who was originally from Punjab, hanged himself on Friday night at his Kharghar residence here where he lived with his wife. He was 32.

Rajput, who had known Grewal for nearly seven years, said the actor was facing "financial crisis" and wasn't able to earn due to the lockdown. 

"He was going through a major financial issue and he was also in depression. The added pressure of not being able to repay loans amid this (no work phase) got to him. His wife is completely shocked and devastated," Rajput told PTI.

The producer said last rites of the actor were performed on Saturday. 

Grewal was working on projects like a webseries and some commercials, which were put on hold due to the nationwide lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.

New Delhi, May 25: Sending out good wishes on the auspicious of Eid, actor Sara Ali Khan on Sunday shared a priceless childhood throwback picture, along with her picture from the current days.

The 'Simmba' star put out the cute picture on Instagram where she is seen clad in a pink hijab, while on the other hand, the second picture features the younger Sara as she is seen sporting a black dupatta while she tries to imitate the younger self.
