Woman helps husband rape 14-year-old

Bhopal, May 30: A 14-year-old girl was raped over and over again for three months by a man in Morena district. Furthermore the man was helped by his wife in the act, said police on Thursday.

Husband rapedHer parents came to know about the incident after the girl got pregnant. When they questioned her about her rapidly bulging stomach, she narrated the whole ordeal. She was taken to a hospital where doctors confirmed that she was three-months pregnant.

The couple, Pappu Kawadia, 50, and his wife Ameena, 45, was booked under sections of rape and Prevention of Children against Sexual Offences Act.

The incident took place at Ganeshpura Mohalla in Morena town. Three months ago Pappu lured the girl to his house on the pretext of offering her sweets. While he took the girl to his bedroom, his wife locked the doors from inside, said police.

He raped the girl and threatened her of dire consequences if the matter was disclosed. Pappu has raped her several times since then, said police.

The girl's parents have consulted doctors for terminating the pregnancy resulting from rape.

This is the second incident of rape reported from Morena wherein the husband was assisted by his wife.

The previous case was reported in October last year, in which a 30-year-old woman helped her husband and his friend rape another woman for two days. The survivor was kept confined in the room on the premises until she managed to escape. The incident took place at a temple in Sabalgarh area.

Bareilly (UP), May 19: Samajwadi leader Chhotelal Diwakar and his son, Sunil Diwakar, were shot dead in broad daylight in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. The entire incident was caught on camera.

The murder was apparently a fallout of a dispute over laying of a road under MGNREGA.

Chhotelal Diwakar had contested the 2017 assembly elections on a Samajwadi Party ticket.

Superintendent of Police, (SP), Sambhal, Yamuna Prasad, said, "Some work was being carried out under MGNREGA due to which some dispute happened. Two people have been shot dead. We will reach the spot of the incident to find more details."

According to his family members, Diwakar and his son had gone for a walk in the fields when the assailants came on a motorbike and after a brief altercation, shot them dead. They fled on foot, leaving their motorbike behind.

A large number of SP workers reached the village soon after the news of the double murder spread.

SP Yamuna Prasad who reached the spot that falls under Behjoi police station, soon after the murders, said that a manhunt has been launched for the assailants. He said that further investigations were underway and the bodies have been sent for post mortem.

Bengaluru, Jun 7: A 27-year-old man was allegedly killed using deadly weapons by unidentified people here, police said.

The incident took place at deceased, Arvind's rented house in LBS Nagar inside HAL police station limits.

According to police, Arvind is an accused in a criminal case and recently walked out of jail on bail.

Kanpur, May 24: Three persons onboard separate Shramik Special trains lost their lives due to various ailment, officials said here on Saturday.

"Family members of the deceased said all were suffering from serious ailment. The travel history of all the three deceased passengers was taken, Kanpur District Magistrate Brahma Deo Ram Tiwari said.

Giving details about the deceased, he said Naichinalyu Disang (23), a resident of Nagaland, was going from Delhi to Dimapur.

"She was suffering from liver ailments," Tiwari said. As she coughed and vomited in the train, other passengers got terrified, he added.

The district magistrate said the body reached Kanpur Central Station at around 10.00 am.

Sample has been taken to check for the presence of novel coronavirus. She was working at a spa in Himachal Pradesh, he said.

Tiwari said Rajendra Prasad (50), a resident of Unnao, died on the Lucknow-bound special train from Andhra Pradesh.

Munni Devi (80), a resident of Siwan district in Bihar, died onboard the special train going from Surat to Siwan, the senior official informed.
