Bengaluru, Jul 20: Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy on Friday invoked the Bible while alleging that BJP used illegal means to poach legislators of the ruling Congress-JD(S) coalition to topple his government.

“The only consolation is that there is coming a day when everyone will give an account of their lives as they stand before Almighty God on Judgment Day — with no lawyer, no lies, no facade — just them and [the] true record of their life,” he said in the assembly earlier on Friday.

Resuming his preliminary submissions on the confidence motion, he said in the evening: “I have stated in no uncertain terms that I am a child of circumstance who is sitting in the chair of the CM. It is a gift of God that I am the CM and God will take it away whenever he wants. I am just a pawn in the game of fate.”

The perosn ONE who keep faith with the creator only  understand . Person politicians one who looking for power money communalism willunderstand the judgement power of creator only after it effect on a right time.To abstain ; safe from these results, person must lead his daily life with Truth anf efficient. Recently we all see ONE dirty mind set MP of coastal district making puja to become yediyurappa as state CM. On what logic and policy she went in front God knows. On circumstance and ability she wants yediyurappa as cm. These cunnungness fraud and cheating with the Kannadigas not leave long. Publics curse never allow any one to succeed nd will be very worst.

Mangaluru/ Udupi, June 19: As many as 13 fresh coronavirus positive cases were reported in Dakshina Kannada on June 19, taking the total number of cases in the coastal district to 414. In Udupi, the total number of covid cases mounted to 1,050 with 11 new cases.

Four among the 13 patients in Dakshina Kannada had returned from Saudi Arabia and seven had returned from Sharjah recently. Two others were suffering from an influenza-like illness (ILI). All the 13 patients have been shifted to the designated COVID hospital in Mangaluru.

In Udupi, three among the 11 new covid patients are children. Four are Maharashtra returnees and two had come from Tamil Nadu. Five others have contracted infection from other positive patients. 

Only 98 cases are currently active in Udupi among 1,050. As many as 950 patients have been discharged from hospital. Two deaths have occurred in the district including one on Friday.

Yadgir, Jan 21: A bag was found abandoned at the Yadgir Bus Stand on Tuesday morning that left the commuters in panic.

After receiving the information, a police team, along with a sniffer dog, rushed to the spot. When the bag was checked, the police found clothes and cash in it.

It is stated that a passenger might have left the bag in a hurry to catch the bus.

Mangaluru, Apr 4: The chemistry department of National Institute of Technology-Karnataka (NIT-K) here has started producing hand sanitizers in view of its shortage in the market after the coronavirus outbreak.

The social initiative led by Arun Isloor, professor and head of the department, was launched by NIT-K director K Uma Maheshwar Rao.

The raw materials needed for this product were provided by the institute.
