Kasaragod, Jun 14: A youth was killed when the car he was driving rammed a roadside building at Anangoor here in the early hours of Tuesday.
Muhammed Basith, 24, died on the spot after he reportedly lost control of the vehicle and hit an ESI dispensary building around 2 a.m.There was drizzle in the area at the time, police sources here said.
Fire and Rescue Services personnel who rushed to the spot found it difficult to rescue him as the car door got jammed under the impact of the collision. Though he was taken to a nearby hospital, he was declared brought dead.
Son of P.F. Abdul Khader of Uliyathadukka, Muhammed Basith was working as sales manager in a textile showroom.
His mortal remains were buried at the Pulikur Juma Masjid.
