Kasargod, Dec 15: As many as 10 people were injured when a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus hit a roadside tree at Chattamchal near here on Wednesday.
The accident occurred around 5 p.m. when the driver of the Kannur bound bus lost control of the vehicle in the rain.
The bus hit a tree on the roadside between Chattamchal and Poinachi. The injured, including a woman, were admitted to hospitals here.
Bengaluru, April 3: Central Crime Branch (CCB) Bengaluru has arrested two persons for allegedly possessing illicit liquor.
The probe team also allegedly seized bottles worth Rs 1.25 lakhs from their possession on Thursday.
A case has been registered against the accused and investigation into the matter is underway, Sandeep Patil, Joint Commissioner of Police informed news agency.

Mandya, Jul 6: With a journalist from Srirangapatna testing positive for Covid-19, the Mandya District Journalists Association was sealed as a precautionary measure.
Association President K C Manjunath said on Monday that as the reporter has tested positive for Covid-19, it was voluntarily decided to seal down the premises for another month.
