Bantwal/Jubail, Jun 4: An expatriate worker from coastal Karnataka, and two other non-resident Indians who were working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia lost their lives in a road accident yesterday.
One of the victims has been identified as Anwar (26), who hailed from Goodinabali near Panemangaluru in Bantwal taluk of Dakshia Kannada district.
The tragedy took place when Anwar and three other Indian expatriates from Uttar Pradesh were travelling in a car on Sunday morning in the industrial city of Jubail.
All three people on board the car were killed when it rammed into a pole after the driver lost his balance, sources said.
It is learnt that Anwar had got married during his recent visit to the home country. Family sources said that the final rites will be held in Jubail.
