Mumbai, Feb 25: Shahrukh Khan’s return gesture to Abhishek is as big as his superstar tag. Recently, Abhishek gifted King Khan a bicycle and Shahrukh gifted Jr. Bachchan a swanky bike worth Rs 12.5 lakhs as a return gesture. The bike was parked outside Abhishek’s Juhu bungalow and the actor is delighted to receive the gift from Shahrukh.
Recently, Shahrukh also gifted his wife Gauri Khan an expensive Mercedes on Valentine’s Day. In the past, Shahrukh and Abhishek’s relationship was not so pleasant. Their relationship turned sour when Shahrukh dropped Ash from ‘Chalte Chalte’ and following which Ash-Abhi did not invite Shahrukh and Gauri to their wedding in 2007.
A friend of Shah Rukh told Mirror, "Shah Rukh is in a very happy place these days. After the success of Chennai Express, he hasn't stopped smiling. His on-going film too is making brisk progress."
Shahrukh, Ash and Abhi patched up at Karan Johar’s birthday party few years back and now they are all great pals. They dropped in at each other’s place very often and party together.
Abhishek and Shahrukh shared screen space in ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ and now again they teamed up for comedy drama `Happy New Year` directed by Farah Khan and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The film stars Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani in the lead role.
