kejriIn a controversial remark, Kejriwal on Sunday suggested the voters to take money from other parties but vote for AAP in upcoming Delhi assembly elections.

"I appeal to the people of Delhi to accept bribes from Congress and BJP. The money they will pay you for votes is money they have stolen from us. Take bribes from the Congress and BJP, but vote for AAP," Kejriwal told supporters while campaigning in Uttam Nagar constituency, according to IBN Live.

He also suggested the voters to approach the head offices of the Congress and BJP parties and demand bribes, in case they don't offer.

While announcing the dates for Delhi assembly elections, the EC has expressed its concerns over possibles of political parties trying to influence voters by bribing them. It has also appointed a task force to control the menace.

Kejriwal on Saturday received EC notice for accusing the BJP of inciting communal violence. The show-cause notice was issued based on the complaint filed by the BJP’s Delhi state chief Satish Upadhyay. Kejriwal has been told to respond to the notice by Jan 20.
