Cannes, May 19: The much-awaited poster of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's comeback film "Jazbaa" was today launched at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival.
The 41-year-old actress along with the film's director Sanjay Gupta unveiled the first poster of the action-thriller, which releases on October 9 this year.
In the first look, Aishwarya looks distressed as she scratches the dust with a cityscape behind her.
Just few minutes after the launch of the poster, social media was abuzz with positive feedbacks calling it "mind blowing", "just the beginning", "can't wait" and "impressive".
An elated Gupta, tweeted, "Thank You... WAY TO GO. JAZBAA trending at number 2."
The former Miss World is returning to the big screen after a gap of five years. She was last seen in Hrithik Roshan starrer drama "Guzaarish".
"Jazbaa" also stars Irffan, Shabana Azmi, Jackie Shroff Atul Kulkarni, Abhimanyu Singh and Chandan Roy Sanyal.

Los Angeles, May 24: Hollywood star Salma Hayek says her daughter Valentina Pinault is a talented 12 year old who wants to be a director and star as a lead in a film one day.
The Oscar-nominated actor shares Valentina with husband, French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault.
Hayek said she has confidence in her daughter's abilities and believes she has a long way to go.
"She has so many talents. She draws, she wants to shoot movies - both as a director and as the lead - and she writes great pieces. Sometimes when I read her work, I have an urge to produce these stories.
"But she tells me that she will do it by herself when she's older. I don't know what's coming next for her but it seems that she has a lot of ways to go," the actor told HELLO! magazine.
Hayek, 53, added she is concerned about Valentina who has always lived a sheltered life.
"Valentina has always done what she wanted, I've never made her do anything and this means she hasn't yet learned how to oppose pressure, how to overcome obstacles.
"I know by experience that only the overcoming of some difficulties can lead you in the right direction," she said.

Singer S P Balasubrahmanyam tests positive for COVID-19

New Delhi, Aug 5: Playback singer S P Balasubrahmanyam on Wednesday confirmed testing positive for COVID-19 with 'mild' symptoms.
The 74-year-old musician shared the information through a video message posted on his official Facebook page.
In the video, the singer detailed about having a little "discomfort" for two days, stating he had chest congestion along with cold and on-off fever, which led him to get tested for the virus.
However, he also mentioned that he could have stayed at home in self-quarantine, as advised, but did not want to put his family in danger, and hence got admitted by his own choice, to recover quickly.
"I am in good hand, I am in good health. Nobody has to worry about this. The fever has subsided, and in two days I'll be discharged and I'll be home. Thanks for the concern," he said in the video message.

The multi-talented star who owns a production house put out a morning selfie on Instagram wherein she is seen sporting a white collared top, flaunting her cherry red lips and dangler earrings as she embraces her peach glow in the sheer sunlight, while her shiny curls bounce the sunshine.
Along with the picture, the 'The Sky Is Pink' actor wrote, "A cherry lip and sunshine...maybe even a earring...I'm feeling adventurous."
On sharing the gorgeous selfie, the Chopra received heaps of praises from fans and celebrity followers, and the post reached more than 1.9 lakh likes including one for Sussanne Khan.

Currently, the actor is quarantined in her California house along with singer and husband Nick Jonas and has been quite active on social media.
Earlier, Priyanka recalled her parents' service in the Indian Army as America observed Memorial Day, and the 37-year-old actor dug out an old picture of her parents in uniform and posted it on Instagram.
