Mumbai, Jan 3: Abhishek Bachchan who received applause for his role as inspector Jai in the third installment of the successful franchise, ‘Dhoom 3’ is overwhelmed to receive good remarks from parents, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. He added that his wife and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is yet to watch the film.
Amitabh Bachchan had watched the film and he showered compliment on his son and Abhishek feels it is the biggest compliment for him to get accolades from his father and added that his mother too immensely liked the film and his acting.
But interestingly, Abhishek’s wife Aishwarya is yet to watch the movie. “Aishwarya hasn’t had the opportunity to watch the film yet. I am sure she will (watch it) very soon,” says Abhishek.
Abhishek, Aishwarya and Aaradhya ring in New Year in Dubai and the proud father said that his daughter too hasn’t caught the film yet.
Taking about YRF sidelined him from the promotional events of ‘Dhoom 3’, he said, “I don’t get upset. I don’t allow people to get to me. Yes, there were one or two functions for which I wasn’t invited. But that’s fine. That was the decision, I guess, Yash Raj (Films, production house) took. And I think this question should be put to them. I don’t have the answer for it,” he says.
Ahishek who has been a part of all three installments of ‘Dhoom’ series adds that it’s a film everyone will be proud of. “Anyone associated with Dhoom:3, however minuscule their part may be in the success, will take immense pride in the fact that the film is doing well and audiences have liked it,” he says.
So will he return for a fourth instalment? “I am sure if Adi Chopra (Aditya, producer) decides to cast us, it would be something to look forward to”.
