Batting first, Unique Striker Bhatkal relied on brilliant innings by Istihaque (62, 50 b, 6X4) and Ubadah Barmawar (23) to post a formidable 152/7.

Defending the target, the Bhatkal bowlers put up a fine collective effort to rip through Manipal's batting order and restrict them to 113 in 18.2 overs.

Chasing 153, Manipal got off to a rollicking start as Farhan Beary (19) paired up with Abhishek (52 runs, 51 balls, 7 fours) at the top.

And they bled runs as the 60-mark came up for Manipal in 9th over. As soon as the play got over though, Vikrant Shetty (13/4) and Neville (19/4) was brought into the attack and things started happening with Bhatkalian.
