New Delhi, Jul 27: Hrithik Roshan`s recent outing `Super 30`, which opened to mixed reviews, has received an overwhelming response from the moviegoers and has been performing remarkably well at the box office.

The film chronicles the life story of Anand Kumar`s (Hrithik), an Indian mathematician, journey from tutoring rich children in a top coaching centre to opening an institute of his own in order to teach the underprivileged children.

Anand opened up about how it feels to see the movie performing so well and also praised Hrithik for his "wonderful acting" in the film.

"It feels great to get encouraging messages from people in different parts of the country and abroad. When people say that the film is inspiring, I feel the film has achieved its goal. When I get to know of institutions organising trips for their students, it is immensely satisfying," Anand said.

"Hrithik Roshan has done wonderful acting in the film and the entire team worked very well," Anand added.

It is the powerful message of the film that has made several states declare the movie tax free, starting from Bihar barely a day after its release. Later, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi followed the suit. It will not come as a surprise if a few more states add to the list in the coming days.

The film is unstoppable at the box and has raked in a total of Rs 113.71 crore so far. Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office collection of the movie on his Twitter handle.

"Super 30 shows its stamina in Week 2. Contribution from Mumbai [Rs 35.13 cr] and Delhi, UP [Rs 23.57 cr] circuits is driving its biz. [Week 2] Fri 4.52 cr, Sat 8.53 cr, Sun 11.68 cr, Mon 3.60 cr, Tue 3.34 cr, Wed 3.16 cr, Thu 3.03 cr. Total: Rs 113.71 cr. India biz," he tweeted.

Produced by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Amit Sadh, and Nandish Sandhu in pivotal roles.

Hrithik, who appears in a completely de-glam avatar in the film, has totally nailed the regional accent and the raw and rugged look.

The actor has brought the story of Patna-based mathematician and founder of the Super 30 educational programme, Anand, to the big screen. Under the `Super 30` initiative, Anand trained Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) aspirants crack the entrance exam to the prestigious institute.

`Super 30` underwent a couple of changes in its release date with Hrithik trying to avoid a clash with Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao-starrer `Judgementall Hai Kya` at the box office.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, `Super 30` was released on July 12.

Los Angeles, Jan 27: Pop-rock innovator Billie Eilish on Sunday bested a packed field to win the Grammy for Song of the Year -- which honors songwriters -- for her hit "Bad Guy."

The 18-year-old beat veteran acts Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey along with newcomers Lewis Capaldi and Lizzo to take home the coveted honor.

She shares the prize with her older brother Finneas O'Connell, her primary creative collaborator.

The pair were gracious onstage, with Eilish telling her fellow nominees: "I grew up watching all of you."

"We just make music in a bedroom together," said O'Connell. "We still do that and they let us do that. (...) This is to all of the kids making music in your bedrooms today -- you're going to get one of these."

Eilish was among this year's most nominated artists with six nods, and is the youngest person ever nominated in all four of the top categories.

Best song was her second award of the night. She won earlier for best pop vocal album for "when we all fall asleep, where do we go?"

Before she released the album in March 2019, Eilish had already assembled a fervent online following for her bold, often haunting pop sound.

In August, Eilish became the first musician born in the 2000s to top the Billboard Hot 100, when she dethroned Lil Nas X, who spent a record-breaking 19 weeks at the top with viral hit "Old Town Road."

The artist named Billboard's 2019 Woman of the Year has also written and will perform the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film "No Time To Die."

"I feel like I'm not supposed to be here," she told E! television on the red carpet before the gala. "Life is weird."
