Avengers 4 might signal exit for Captain America says Chris Evans; hints at possible end to MCU role

New York, Mar 23: Actor Chris Evans, who plays superhero Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, might be stepping away from the franchise after the next year's Avengers 4.

The 36-year-old has portrayed the role in eight films, including cameos in three MCU movies, and is reprising the character in Avengers: Infinity War, slated to release in April.

In an interview with the New York Times, Evans has expressed his intention to step away from the role after "Avengers 4", which will hit theatres in May next year.

"You want to get off the train before they push you off," Evans told the publication.

He will return for reshoots of Avengers 4 later this year, but it is expected that they will mark the end of the road for Evans in the MCU.

Srinagar, Feb 7: Jammu and Kashmir High Court on Friday dismissed a petition seeking a stay on the release of the movie 'Shikara' which is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley.

The film which hit theatres today has Vidhu Vinod Chopra at the helm and narrates the story of the mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990 that forced lakhs to flee their homeland almost overnight following a genocidal campaign by militants.

Shot primarily in the Valley, the movie is being promoted mainly as a journey of love between the lead couple.

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 15: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has condoled the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and recalled his support to the state during the floods in 2018.

The 34-year old Bollywood actor was found hanging at his apartment in Mumbai on Sunday.

"We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. His early demise is a great loss to the Indian Film industry. Our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and supporters," Vijayan said in a tweet.

"We take a moment to remember his support during the time of Kerala floods

During the deluge in August, 2018, a fan had tagged him in a comment on his Instagram post and said, he don't have the money, but wanted to donate some food.

The actor, who spotted the comment, replied that he will donate Rs one crore in his fan's name.

Rajput donated Rs one crore to CMDRF in the name of his fan and uploaded the screenshot saying, My Kerala.
