Bearys Welfare Forum organises ‘Seerathunabi’

Abu Dhabi, Feb 2: The Bearys Welfare Forum (BWF), a well-known social organization in .U.A.E, respected for its philanthropic and charitable works, organized the ‘Seerthunabi’ programme at Banquet Hall, Arab Udupi Restaurant, Abu Dhabi on Thursday evening, January 30 amidst prominent personalities from all walks of life.

Speaking on the occasion Sayed Ibrahim Al Hadi Thangal, Mudarris, Juma Masjid, Athoor said, “Bearys Welfare Forum is carrying forward the rich traditions of Beary Community along with serving the poorest of the poor in the community. It is noteworthy that BWF is arranging social and religious programmes. But need of the hour is unity in the community, and unity must be given priority as the society passes on the turbulence time. “

In his inspirational speech he emphasized the unity of Muslims and all mankind.

Abdul Salam Puttige, Editor In Chief, Vartha Bharathi daily, in his key note speech touched all aspects of Prophet Mohamed’s (PBUH), teaching and emphasized how it is relevant to 21st century.

Mr Puttige impressed the mostly young audience of 250 people, by his open and intelligent speech in his address on the occasion highlighting the greatness, simplicity and life aspects of the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh).

BWF President Mohamed Ali Uchil presided over the function, and welcomed the guests and given in length the achievements of BWF in the field of charity and reaching our poor. And also emphasized the youth in the community to work hard and educate them to be ready to face the modern world.

Abdulla Madumoole, General Secretary, BWF given the introductory speech which covered the life of Prophet Mohamed (PBUH), and how to achieve unity in the society we live in.

Siraj Ahmed, VP.ADCB and a Sahibaan Community leader has given a short and sweet speech, and promised his full hearted support to BWF charity programs.

Vinod Ahmed, a prominent social figure in U.A.E. was present in the dais.

Irshad Byrikatte, a young and talented BWF executive member compered the Seerathunabi program, and recited the Holy Koran. Jaleel Gurupur, BWF executive committee member rendered the vote of thanks.

Mohamed Rafeeq Krishanapur,Vice President, BWF along with Treasurer-Siddik Kaup Mohamed Kallapu, Imran Ahmed, Siddik Uchil,  Nawaz Uchil, Hameed Gurupur, Abdul Majeed, Ismail Shimoga,Abdul Razak Sullia,Mostafa Mata, Abdul Ravoof, Ibrahim Umbu,Rasheed Bijai,Nazeer Ubar,Majeeed AAthoor and V.K.Rasheed were instrumental in arranging the program.

Dubai, Aug 7: ‘Nama Tuluve’ Purushotham Salian, a staunch stalwart who always supported humanity and a strong pillar for Tuluvas in Dubai, passed away August, 4 at Al Tawam Hospital Al Ain. He was suffering from cancer and was admitted to Al Tawam Hospital Al Ain some time ago. He was on the last stage of illness which was not detected earlier.

His funeral last rites were conducted on Thursday August 7 at Jebel Ali cemetery in Hindu rites with a few of his family members present. Due to Covid pandemic, neither his body was able to be flown back to hometown nor could his two children come down to attend the funeral. However, it was said that his wish was to be cremated here in Dubai which unknowingly sometime back he whispered to one of his friends.

Purushotham had few years ago, survived a heart attack and fought back his life, though it had a minor paralytic effect on him. Even though, till recently he used to do his day-to-day work normally. He was a hard working personality and owned a readymade garment shop in Ajman and Dubai mostly taking care of clients with requirement of uniforms and coveralls. His dedication towards work was always appreciated by his clients who used to get their things delivered on time always.

He was never a publicity person and was helping the poor and needy in whatever ways he could silently. He strongly supported the community and was associated with Nama Tuluveru and Billawa community with commitment. He used to voluntarily come forward for the ground work of various functions of the community and used to be there until it was done perfectly.

Dubai: A non-profitable social organization, KSCC is delivering a great service to the community during this pandemic situation.

Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club is a civil organization registered under Community Development Authority (CDA) involved in implementing various UAE government initiatives, blood donation drives, health campaigns, sport events, charity works, awareness programs and much more.

KSCC is currently actively liaising with Dubai government authorities in discharging the needs and requirements of the people in these challenging covid-19 pandemic times. It is also involved the activities such as logistics, coordinating stores, mobilizing isolation centers, equipping quarantine facilities and volunteering services.

During these testing times, KSCC is also facilitating the Guidance to the general public, follow-up up to 122 covid positive cases, counselling the affected, assisting the references and providing the ever-necessary emotional support by setting up a team of 24 reserved persons for call center helplines.

As per the request from DHA (Dubai Health Authority) KSCC has successfully organized the blood donation drive and donated upto 141 units of blood with the help of KSCC members & supporters.

Apart from above, KSCC is also engaged in serving needy by distributing the food provisional kit (Yestahloon) from the very 1st day of lockdown till day by their special task force team under guidelines of CDA, and also taking into consideration the month of Ramadan, team is successfully distributing Iftar food & provision kit with the help of donors.

In the 1st Phase, KSCC covered 2421 beneficiaries by providing 440 provisional food kits, 435 food pack and 529 Iftar kits.

As per the CDA guidelines, club is also engaged in following up the health condition of senior citizens living in UAE.

KSCC special team is also engaged in clearing documentation and formalities related to dead body repatriation until its final procedures and handing over to relatives with help of UAE governments authorities. Total 5 dead bodies are repatriated in their 1st phase of service.

KSCC is also having a center controlled special task team to assist all above activities during the covid-19 pandemic to continue the services to general public.

KSCC thanks all Government authorities, Members in different task team, supporters and Sponsors company MAERSK, MALABAR GOLD & DIAMOND and TAMIL ENTREPRENEUR for their support and also request extend their support to consolidate the above demanding service and deliver our best possible assistance not only because it is the month of Ramadan, but also our responsibility to reach out to the poor and needy, during this fight against Covid-19.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter distributed Food Kits for Indian expatriates labors who were in trouble due to Corona lockdown on April 6, 2020 at a labor camp here in Al Khobar.

The labors, most of them are from the staes of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh And Uttar Pradesh, were in trouble without food.

 Recieving the information leaders of Indian Social Forum immediately visited the camp to take survey.

Indian Social Forum with the help of donors distributed food kits. Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka Chapter president Mr.Mohammed Shareef Jokatte expressed gratitude for donors for their contribution.
