Bengaluru, Oct 5: Police have nabbed two robbers and seized from them 34 mobile phones of different companies worth about Rs 2.
5 lakhs.
Police said on Friday that the duo were targeting Mobile selling shops and on September 14 they had robbed 34 Mobile phones from a shop in Hebbal Police Station limits.
Hebbal Police have registered a case against arrested Mohammed Dawood and Jakir Hussain and investigating.
Nagpur, Apr 5: A 23-year-old man allegedly committed suicide in Imambada area in Nagpur on Saturday due to financial distress, police said.
Nikhil Gavhane, who worked in a grocery shop, hanged himself as he had taken money from a person and was stressed over repayment, an official said.
"He was depressed since a week," the Imambada police station official said.
Kochi, Mar 24: A 54-year-old domestic passenger was arrested at the airport here for allegedly refusing to follow instructions given by doctorsfor prevention of the spread of novel coronavirus, police said here on Tuesday.
Lami Arackal from Ernakulam, who landed from Chennai at the Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery on Monday night, was arrested based on a complaint from health officials, they said.
He was, however, later released on bail.
Arackal allegedly refused to wear mask and follow other instructions to be observed by the passengers coming from other states as part of the measures to check COVID-19 spread.
He also allegedly misbehaved with the medical officers, police said.
