The 3 Hungry Men join NITK for ‘Hogathon’

Mangalore, Mar 13: National Institute of Karnataka (NITK), Suratkal, in association with ‘The 3 Hungry Men’, Mangalore’s first and only food reviewing body are going to conduct Mangalore’s first ‘Hogathon’ on November 16 and 17, during ‘Incident’, the annual fest of NITK.

This competition is open to everyone above the age of 18. Another added highlight is that this competition is open for all, not only for NITK students.

There will be no last minute entry. The registrations are on Wednesday and Thursday at NITK. For registrations in Mangalore, contact Nikhil Pai on 9538526409.

The event will commence on March 16 at 2 p.m. with an inauguration followed by the preliminary rounds. The semi final and grand finale will be on 17 at 12 p.m.

Mandya, Jul 6: With a journalist from Srirangapatna testing positive for Covid-19, the Mandya District Journalists Association was sealed as a precautionary measure.

Association President K C Manjunath said on Monday that as the reporter has tested positive for Covid-19, it was voluntarily decided to seal down the premises for another month.

Bengaluru, April 3: Central Crime Branch (CCB) Bengaluru has arrested two persons for allegedly possessing illicit liquor.

The probe team also allegedly seized bottles worth Rs 1.25 lakhs from their possession on Thursday.

A case has been registered against the accused and investigation into the matter is underway, Sandeep Patil, Joint Commissioner of Police informed news agency.
