Kasaragod, Jul 19: A one-year-old girl was found dead in an overflowing well at Eriyal here on Wednesday. The police said Ayishath Shamna, daughter of Naseema, could have fallen into the well in the paddy field. The well wall had collapsed a while ago. Mangaluru, Jul 7: Businessman and philanthropist Haji K Abdulla passed away at his residence at Kotekar on the outskirts of the city today. He was 87. He had served as the president of Abdul Khader Haji Memorial Trust and Honorary President of Noorani Yatheem Khana.
