Bengaluru, Sept 3: Minister B S Yediyurappa will have a re-look into previous Congress-JDS Coalition government’s decision to sell 3,667 acres of land to steel giant JSW to expand its industry in Bellari District of Karnataka as per initial agreement.
The issue had attracted widespread criticism from the then Opposition party BJP and Yediyurappa, who was the Opposition leader then even staged protest against the government’s decision.
The issue had also attracted opposition from Coalition partner Congress leaders including former Minister H K Patil who had turned that the government’s decision is not correct and had urged its withdrawal immediately.
