New Delhi, Apr 25: Rani Mukerji tied the knot at 36. While she exchanged vows with filmmaker Aditya Chopra in Italy, her contemporaries like Preity Zinta, Tabu and Urmila Matondkar continue to be in the list of 30-plus yet single. There are other Bollywood beauties like Priyanka Chopra and Amrita Rao who have also found a spot on the list.

Priyanka Chopra: In over a decade, the 31-year-old has done it all - clinched the Miss World crown, delivered blockbusters like "Krrish 3", "Barfi!" and "Fashion", crooned with international artists like Pitbull and Will.I.Am and fronted the global fashion brand GUESS as its first Bollywood actress. But it seems to have been hard luck when it comes to love. She had reportedly dated actors Harman Baweja and Shahid Kapoor, but someone is yet to put a ring on her finger.

Bipasha Basu: She once dated model-turned-actors Dino Morea and John Abraham. While she still continues to be friends with Dino, after parting ways with John in 2011 she cut off ties with him. For a few years, she kept her love life away from shutterbugs and it was just a few months ago when she declared that she was in love again. Bipasha, who has always been vocal about her beaus, officially announced her relationship with Harman Baweja. The actor, who was once linked to Priyanka, was also spotted at Bipasha's 35th birthday bash. There are also rumours of the couple getting hitched soon. Till now, they are tight-lipped about the union.

Soha Ali Khan: She has for long been in a committed relationship with fellow actor Kunal Kemmu. The 35-year-old has often said in public that her star mom Sharmila Tagore repeatedly tells her to tie the knot, but she seems to have no qualms about just dating Kunal. The "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns" star, who is in a live-in relationship with her man, is probably waiting to turn 40 to settle down.

Neha Dhupia: She was in an on and off relationship with squash player Ritwik Bhattacharya and then was spotted with Venezuelan hunk James Sylvester in 2011. This was followed by her link-up with cricketer Yuvraj Singh but she denied this and said that when she finds her soul mate, she will let everyone know about him - but till then, she's enjoying her single status.

Amrita Rao: The petite actress is fondly remembered for her role in Sooraj R. Barjatya's 2006 hit film "Vivah", but the 32-year-old has never gone public about losing her heart to a hunk. It was only in 2008 that she sparked rumours of finding love in Pakistani band Jal's singer Farhan Saeed. A few years later, many assumed that cupid had finally struck her when it was reported that she was dating an NRI surgeon. But as of now, there seems to be no sign of a knight in shining armour sweeping her off her feet.

Raima Sen: The 34-year-old Bengali beauty, who was once reportedly dating cricketer Yuvraj Singh, admitted that she felt guilty as she couldn't fulfil her late grandmother and iconic actress Suchitra Sen's last wish - to see her get married. Though the "Chokher Bali" actress had also announced her marriage to a friend in 2012 on Twitter, a day after posting her "engagement" pictures, she backed out saying it was just a joke. Following that prank, there were hardly any link-ups rumours. For now, she looks happy being single.

While Rani recently had "a beautiful wedding in the Italian countryside", her cousin Tanishaa Mukerji, also 36, is still staying away from marital bliss.

"Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai" actress Ameesha Patel is also yet to get hitched.

Patna, Jun 27: As Sushant Singh Rajput’s family tries to come to terms with his loss, they have decided to honour his legacy and celebrate his passion for cinema, science and sports.

In an emotional statement shared on Saturday, the Bollywood actor’s family remembered him as a “free-spirited” person who worked hard to turn his dreams into reality.

“He was free-spirited, talkative and incredibly bright. He was curious about just everything. He dreamed without restraints, and chased those dreams with the heart of a lion. He smiled generously. He was the pride and inspiration of the family,” the statement read.

Rajput, 34, known for films like Kai Po Che!, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Chhichhore, was found dead in his Bandra apartment on June 14, sending shockwaves in the film industry and elsewhere.

The family said that the actor’s untimely demise has created an irreparable void in their lives.

“We can’t bring ourselves to accept that we wouldn’t get to hear his easy laughs anymore. That we wouldn’t see his sparkling eyes again. That we wouldn’t hear his endless rants about science again. His loss has created a permanent, glaring void in the family that will never be filled.”

Thanking his admirers for being a constant support as they try and recover from the loss, the family added that Rajput, “truly loved and cherished every single one of his fans.”

The actor, who made the storybook transition from Patna boy to television and then the starry lights of the Hindi film industry, was the youngest of five siblings and is survived by his father and four sisters. His mother had passed away in 2002 when he was a young teen.

To honour his memory and legacy, the family has decided to set up Sushant Singh Rajput Foundation (SSRF) that will support young talents in cinema, science and sports.

His childhood home in Rajiv Nagar, Patna, will be turned into a memorial, where all his personal memorabilia and belongings, that include thousands of books, his Meade 14’’ LX-600 telescope, flight-simulator, will be on display for his fans and admirers.

The actor’s family, who used to fondly call him Gulshan, will also maintain his social media accounts as legacy accounts to keep his memories alive.

Rajput started his acting career with television after dropping out from Delhi Technological University in the early 2000s. He was one of the few talents to have made a successful transition to movies.

The actor made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with Kai Po Che!. In past seven years, he had featured in a number of hits including blockbusters Neeraj Pandey’s MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Chhichhore by Nitesh Tiwari.

Tiwari’s 2019 hit was Rajput’s last theatrical release.

On Thursday, it was announced that Dil Bechara, which is the actor’s last movie he shot for, will premiere on Disney + Hotstar on July 24.
