KMYA’s annual family fest in Riyadh on Mar 22

Riyadh: Katipalla Muslim Youth Association, Riyadh, has officially announced that its annual family get-together ‘KMYA sambhrama’ would be held on 22nd March (Thursday) at Al Rushd Resort in Riyadh.

KMYA was formed by the expatriates from Katipalla, a small town on the outskirts of Mangaluru city living in Saudi Arabia in 1989 with aim of helping the poor and needy back home with community welfare activities.

Every year, KMYA has been organizing family gathering where Mangalurean community living in Riyadh spend time together with friends and family. 

This year the get together will start at 8 p.m. conclude till 3 a.m. A grand Mangalorean buffet dinner and a variety of sports and fun activities will be part of the event. There will be fun for everyone and lots of competitions to win prizes on the evening. 

Separate entrance and arrangements will be organized for women and children. Members of KMYA can be contacted for further details.

Kuwait City, Aug 9: Indian social forum organised Blood Donation Camp in association with central blood bank kuwait on Friday, 7th August 2020.

The forum organised camp to support the high demand of blood in the context of COVID-19.

All arrangements to maintain COVID-19 protocol were made in the camp including segregation of donors as branch wise batches along with strict safety measures of participants.

Forum also had donated blood to many patients during the lockdown period. 

Hundreds of people donated blood in the camp. The camp organised in Blood Bank, Jabriya was successfully managed by Dr. Asma Rafat and leaders of Indian social forum Vice President Aslam, Secretory Sayyid Bukhari Thangal, Moideen Koya, Khaleel, Aseem, Mohammed Sha, Shihab, Naushad,
Indian Social Forum expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude to the doctors, staff and management of blood bank, forum’s members and donors.
