New Delhi, Nov 13: The Congress on Tuesday described the statement by Dassault CEO Eric Trappier as a 'fixed match' and said the Country needed fair investigation in the Rafale deal with France.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, AICC media incharge Randeep Singh Surjewala said,'' Nation doesn’t need ‘doctored explanations’ but ‘fair investigation’!''
Taking potshots at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he wrote,'' Fixed match between BJP Govt & Dassault and PR Stunts of PM Modi & Eric Trappier can’t hide the blatant corruption.
In a latest interview, the Dassault CEO has rubbished all allegations made by Congress president Rahul Gandhi.
Mr Gandhi had alleged that Mr Trappier had ‘lied’ about the details of the Dassault-Reliance Joint Venture for offsets as part of the Rafale deal.
Earlier in November, the Congress Chief had alleged that Mr Trappier was ‘openly lying’ that Mr Modi did not coerce his company to get into a joint venture with Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani led Reliance Defence as a partner for offsets.
