New Delhi, August 30: A 16-year-old Class 11 student of a private school has alleged that she was kidnapped in her friend's Hyundai Accent car by two youths known to her and one of them raped her. Police have arrested three youths in the case. The girl claimed the incident took place in northwest Delhi's Rani Bagh area on August 18.

Police said the girl, daughter of a Delhi police head constable, has alleged that nine youths, including the two accused, misbehaved with her at Prashant Vihar market around 10.30pm. She had gone to get a top-up for her mobile phone.

She told the police that she called her friends Honey Singh, a notorious ‘auto lifter’, and Chirag. They came in Singh's Hyundai car. The two reportedly argued with the other nine over misbehaving with the girl. They later left for Pitampura village in Singh's car, she told the police.

In her complaint, she said the youths had followed them in their own car till they reached Pitampura village. "She said they came out of their car and bashed up Honey and Chirag and robbed them of their cash. During the melee, Gandharva alias Roly and Deepak allegedly pushed the girl inside Honey's car and left the place. She said Roly raped her in the car and Deepak also tried to rape her but was warned by his friend not to do so. They then dumped the girl outside Prashant Vihar police station," said a senior police officer, quoting the girl's complaint.

Police said when they asked the girl why her friends hadn't called the police to inform about her abduction, she said they were told that they would also be in trouble since she was kidnapped in their car. She claimed her friends were also dropped outside the same police station from where they had made the first PCR call, added the officer.

Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC on the basis of the girl's complaint. Police have also arrested three youths, identified as Roly, his friends Anmol and Kushal Pahwa.

Deepak, who is said to be the son of a Delhi police head constable, and his five other friends are still absconding.
