‘Dabak Daba Aisaa’ to be screened in Kasargod

Mangaluru, Dec 22: ‘Dabak Daba Aisaa’ tulu movie produced and directed by Prakash Pandeshwar, under the banner of Jayakirana Films is to be screened in Krishna Theatre, Kasaragod from December 23 onwards.

The Movie ‘Dabak Daba Aisaa’ has already been released in Mangaluru , surroundings and has been successfull in attracting large number of Tulu language and movie lovers towards the theatre. Veteran artisits of the tulu movie industry namely Devadas Kapikad, Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Sundar Rai Mandara and others have played a very destinct roles in this movie. Welknown Cameraman of Malayalayam Movies, Utpal V Nayanar has done the cinematography for this movie, while Rajesh Mangaluru has served as the music director.

Soon after it’s successful shows in Kasaragod, the movie is to be released in Mumbai and Gulf countries as well.

Mangaluru, July 14: Melkar  Women's PU college has achieved excellent pass percentage in II PUC examinations, the results of which were announced today.

As many as 140 students of the college had appeared for second PU board exam 2020 this year. The college secured 95% results in the current academic year.

Among them 24 students passed with distinction and 94 with with first class marks.

Fathima Nisha (558 in Arts),

Zaithunnisa (561 in commerce) and Zainaba ifrath (545 in science) are the toppers of respective sections in the college.

Bengaluru, April 3: Central Crime Branch (CCB) Bengaluru has arrested two persons for allegedly possessing illicit liquor.

The probe team also allegedly seized bottles worth Rs 1.25 lakhs from their possession on Thursday.

A case has been registered against the accused and investigation into the matter is underway, Sandeep Patil, Joint Commissioner of Police informed news agency.
