Los Angeles, Aug 16: After constant denials, Daniel Craig has confirmed that he will return as James Bond in the 25th Bond movie.

The 49-year-old actor put reports about his departure from the film franchise to rest with an appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert", according to Variety.

When the host asked Craig if he would reprise his role as Agent 007, the actor replied in one-word, "Yes".

Craig said he had known that he would come back as Bond for "a couple of months" now.

"We've been discussing it, we've just been trying to figure things out. I always wanted to, I needed a break," he added.

His comments came just hours after he denied returning as Bond, telling a radio station: "I'd hate to burst the bubble, but no decision has been made at the moment."

Explaining his previous remarks, Craig told Colbert: "I've been doing interviews about it all day and I've been rather coy. I kind of felt like if I should speak the truth I should speak the truth to you."

Craig also confirmed that it would be the last time he would step in to play the iconic character, penned by Ian Fleming, saying, "I just want to go out on a high note, and I can't wait."

In 2015, the actor had famously said, "I'd rather break this glass and slash my wrists" than return for another film but Craig now admitted that it was a "really stupid answer".

"There's no point making excuses about it, but it was two days after I had finished shooting the last movie and I went straight to an interview where someone asked, 'Would you do another one?' and I went, 'No!'"

The 25th movie will be Craig's fifth outing as the fictitious secret agent. He first appeared in 2006's "Casino Royale", which was followed by "Quantum of Solace", "Skyfall" and "Spectre".

The untitled film was officially announced last month with a slated November 8, 2019 release date.

Los Angeles, May 24: Hollywood star Salma Hayek says her daughter Valentina Pinault is a talented 12 year old who wants to be a director and star as a lead in a film one day.

The Oscar-nominated actor shares Valentina with husband, French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault.

Hayek said she has confidence in her daughter's abilities and believes she has a long way to go.

"She has so many talents. She draws, she wants to shoot movies - both as a director and as the lead - and she writes great pieces. Sometimes when I read her work, I have an urge to produce these stories.

"But she tells me that she will do it by herself when she's older. I don't know what's coming next for her but it seems that she has a lot of ways to go," the actor told HELLO! magazine.

Hayek, 53, added she is concerned about Valentina who has always lived a sheltered life.

"Valentina has always done what she wanted, I've never made her do anything and this means she hasn't yet learned how to oppose pressure, how to overcome obstacles.

"I know by experience that only the overcoming of some difficulties can lead you in the right direction," she said.

Los Angeles, Jan 27: Pop-rock innovator Billie Eilish on Sunday bested a packed field to win the Grammy for Song of the Year -- which honors songwriters -- for her hit "Bad Guy."

The 18-year-old beat veteran acts Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey along with newcomers Lewis Capaldi and Lizzo to take home the coveted honor.

She shares the prize with her older brother Finneas O'Connell, her primary creative collaborator.

The pair were gracious onstage, with Eilish telling her fellow nominees: "I grew up watching all of you."

"We just make music in a bedroom together," said O'Connell. "We still do that and they let us do that. (...) This is to all of the kids making music in your bedrooms today -- you're going to get one of these."

Eilish was among this year's most nominated artists with six nods, and is the youngest person ever nominated in all four of the top categories.

Best song was her second award of the night. She won earlier for best pop vocal album for "when we all fall asleep, where do we go?"

Before she released the album in March 2019, Eilish had already assembled a fervent online following for her bold, often haunting pop sound.

In August, Eilish became the first musician born in the 2000s to top the Billboard Hot 100, when she dethroned Lil Nas X, who spent a record-breaking 19 weeks at the top with viral hit "Old Town Road."

The artist named Billboard's 2019 Woman of the Year has also written and will perform the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film "No Time To Die."

"I feel like I'm not supposed to be here," she told E! television on the red carpet before the gala. "Life is weird."
