Kalaburagi, Nov 24: Congress leader in Lok Sabha M Mallikarjun Kharge , terming dissolution of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly is unconstitutional and demanded resignation of Governor Satya Pal Malik.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Mr Kharge termed the Governor's act as ' Making a mockery of Democracy'. The Assembly was dissolved despite there was majority." There is no scope for democracy in the NDA Government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi . In 2005, in similar incident, the then Governor tendered resignation.
Mr Kharge alleged that the BJP got feared after the grand alliance formed and it got Jammu and Kashmir Assembly dissolved.
Mr Kharge said the youths wanted a change in the country. Congress will win Assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh,Telangana and Mizoram States.
