Dubai: 8 teams to participate in KSCC Tolerance Trophy volleyball tourney

Dubai: The KSCC Tolerance Trophy volleyball tournament will be held on 25th October 2019, in Al Wasl Club, in relation to Year of Tolerance in Dubai.

Pre event meet was held on 19th October 2019, with organizing committee and participating teams. Mr Hafeezuddin Kaup presided this meeting in Dubai Pearl Creek Hotel.

KSCC President Mr. Mohammad Ismail did an introductory speech and handed over to Committee Vice Chairman Mr. HafeezuddinKaup to take up the agendas for discussion.

Press meet was held after the meeting to release the fixtures lot and jerseys for the teams. All organizing committee were present on this occasion. Mr Mohammad Mustafa, event main sponsor who is Managing Director of Emsquare Engineering Consultant was the chief guest for this event and Mr. Khaled Almheiri, BOD member of the club was also present for this event as a guest.

Participating 8 teams were also invited on this occasion for picking up their lots for team numbers and match jerseys.

Rules and regulationswas released by event match referee Mr Mohiddeenn National referee of Volleyball Federation of India. Fixtures were also released during this event. Jerseys were released by Organizing committee Vice chairman Mr HafeezuddinKaupand Chief Guest Mr Mohammed Mustafa.

Event was hosted by Mr. Ziauddin.

Organising committee members are Mr Afroz Assadi as Event Chairman, Mr Hafeezudding as event Vice Chairman, Mr Noel, Mr. Althaf Khalife, Mr. Mubeen Udupi, Mr. Samiulla, Mr. Majeed, Mr Naseer, Mr Abdul Hameed, Mr Mohammad Shafi, Mr Tanveer and Mr. Althaf Kudroli.

Kuwait: Friday Forum Kuwait conducted its 12th inter-school Islamic Elocution Competition at Hotel Rajadhani Palace, Khaitan on 1st January 2020. 

The competition, which was held in the senior and junior categories had participation from 15 Indian Schools across Kuwait comprising of 43 students. In the senior category, Ayisha Wafiya of Indian Community School, Khaitan bagged the first prize and Efrem Joseph of Indian Community School, Amman won the second prize. 

In the junior category, Hima Jameela of Indian Community School, Khaitan bagged the first prize and Fadhel Kandapath of Fahaheel Al Wataniya Indian School won the second prize. Nawaal Yaseen Ebrahim of Indian Community School (SR), Salmiya and Rhruthunanda of Indian Learners Own Academy, Abbasiya won the consolation prizes in senior and junior categories respectively.

This year, the event was fully conducted by the ladies wing of Friday Forum. Dr. Thasneem Amir, Ibtisam Basheer, Toast Masters Ola Rasheed, Fatma Abduhedeid, Shazia Thabassum and Marium Rangat were the judges for the competition in senior and junior categories. The event started with the Qira’at by Saneera Riyas, followed by welcome speech by Dr. Sajna Mohammed. 

The prizes were distributed to winners by Shahina Mansoor, Femitha Faseeh, Dr.Thasneem Amir, Dr. Sajna Mohammed, Zeenath Yacoub, Safna Sayam and Saneera Riyas. The Souvenir for the program - “INSPERIA 2020”- was released during the event by the chief editor Farha Abdul Rahman. The program was compered by Thanveera Noushad and the program convenor Subeana Shabeer conveyed the vote of thanks.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter organized a "Live along with COVID-19" webinar on 29 May 2020 in association with HealthCare Polyclinic, Dammam.

The webinar at Zoom App. featured over 150+ resident Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia's eastern and neighboring provinces.

Dr. Shailendranath made a presentation on the program and gave useful information. Indian Social Forum Dammam, Karnataka Chapter President Sharif Joktake delivered the keynote address. General Secretary Irshad Jokatte stalled the program.

Markaz Al Madeena Association, Eastern province, conducted JALS-E-UCHILA get together program at Dammam, Saudi Arabia on March 5,2020 on account of celebrating 28 years of social service dedicated by the organization.

The event chairman Noushad Uchil inaugurated the function. The organization president presided the program and delivered talk about the intention of the organization. Hashim Uchil has intorduced the social and academic contribution of the organization of past 28 years. Jamal Uchil welcomed the gathering and Ismail G.I. host the program.

Games, Quiz and prize distribution to the winners and senior social workers was the special attraction of the event. The planning committee of the event includes Iqbal, Farooq, Shahul Hameed, Ramza, Nabeel, Afthar, Ashraf and Shafi.
