Kannur, Dec 25: A group of activists of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) and Youth Congress waved black flags at Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa at two different locations during his visit to temples here on Tuesday.
The pro-CPI(M) and pro-Congress youth wings were protesting against the Union government's decision to implement Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the detention of Kerala journalists in Mangaluru on last week.
Police arrested 20 protesters, including 15 DYFI activists and five Youth Congress workers, for waving black flags at Yediyurappa here.
