Enraged Man Punches And Kicks Woman In Indore Gym. Caught On CCTV

Indore, Aug 19: In shocking CCTV footage that has been released from a gym in Indore, a man can be seen brutally assaulting a woman who was working out there.

The reason: she apparently had complained about his behavior, according to news agency.

The man, wearing a sleeveless T-shirt, can be seen getting ready for exercise as another person adjusts the weights for him.

When the girl standing behind him says something, he turns around and punches her straight in the head. As the woman slumps over onto the squat rack, holding her head with one hand in pain, other gym members rush to restrain the attacker.

But he is not done yet. He then kicks her hard on the knee, and she slowly falls down.

A couple of men can be seen pulling the attacker aside, while the others attend to the girl.

The video of the incident has been released by news agency.

A case of molestation and assault has been registered against the man in the video, said police officer Shashikant Kankane to agency.

Kozhikode, Jul 20: A 17-year old boy died of head injuries while trying to protect his mother from being assaulted by his drunk father here, police said on Sunday.

The youngster suffered the fatal injury after his head hit against the door when his father shoved him at their home on Saturday. Venu, had come home in an inebriated state and picked up a quarrel with his wife and started beating her up, they said.

On seeing this, Alan tried to intervene. Though the boy was rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved, they added. Venu was arrested and a case has been registered.

Kochi, Mar 24: A 54-year-old domestic passenger was arrested at the airport here for allegedly refusing to follow instructions given by doctorsfor prevention of the spread of novel coronavirus, police said here on Tuesday.

Lami Arackal from Ernakulam, who landed from Chennai at the Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery on Monday night, was arrested based on a complaint from health officials, they said.

He was, however, later released on bail.

Arackal allegedly refused to wear mask and follow other instructions to be observed by the passengers coming from other states as part of the measures to check COVID-19 spread.

He also allegedly misbehaved with the medical officers, police said.

Yavatmal, May 19: Four migrant workers were killed and 15 others were injured after a bus they were travelling in crashed into a truck in Yavatmal on Tuesday morning.

The bus was travelling from Solapur to Jharkhand. More details are currently awaited.

This comes amid nationwide COVID-19 lockdown has been extended to May 31, albeit with some relaxations.
