Greater Noida, April 24: The silence at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) was broken by a loud screeching sound of roaring Lamborghinis as Bollywood stars Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn took over the racing track to show each other who is 'Tezz'!

Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn at a promotional event for their upcoming film 'Tezz' at Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida on Monday. PTIThe actors, who were here Monday to promote their forthcoming film "Tezz", took everyone by surprise with their stylish entry. Both the actors tried their hands on the Italian super sports car and were fascinated by its speed on the 5.14 km-track, which was developed for the country's inaugural Formula One Grand Prix last year.

"The highest speed at which we drove today was 260 kmph. I've never done such an act before in my life," Anil told reporters here post the casual race, in which Ajay was faster. "It's like an addiction! We drove four laps and still wanted to do more. This track is simply amazing and very smooth," added the 52-year-old.

Looking comfortable in a blue checked shirt and wayfarer shades, Ajay said: "This is the first time that someone from Bollywood has come up with the idea of promoting a movie on a racing track. It's very exciting yet innovative." "Tezz", releasing Friday, also features Zayed Khan, Boman Irani, Sameera Reddy and Kangna Ranaut. It is directed by the maverick Priyadarshan, whose showbiz career spans close to three decades.

Known for his comedy flicks, the filmmaker says he wanted to try something new. That's the reason why he thought of directing an action thriller this time. "It's a social drama, thriller and is about a chase between cops and criminals. This is the 84th film of my career. I've put all my experience in this movie. The movie also has a thin line of emotions, something similar to 'Deewaar' and 'Sholay'," Priyadarshan, who was also present at the track, said here.

Los Angeles, Jun 26: Warner Bros has moved its Christopher Nolan-directed espionage thriller Tenet from July 31 to August 12.

It's the second delay for the highly-anticipated movie, which was originally scheduled to release on July 17 but was postponed to July 31 due to coronavirus pandemic.

Warner Bros. is committed to bringing Tenet' to audiences in theaters, on the big screen, when exhibitors are ready and public health officials say it's time. In this moment what we need to be is flexible, and we are not treating this as a traditional movie release.

We are choosing to open the movie mid-week to allow audiences to discover the film in their own time, and we plan to play longer, over an extended play period far beyond the norm, to develop a very different yet successful release strategy, a Warner Bros spokesperson said in a statement to Deadline.

The studio has also delayed the US re-release of Nolan's sci-fi blockbuster Inception, in honour of the film's 10th anniversary, to July 31.

Tenet features John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Kenneth Branagh, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Michael Caine, Clemence Poesy, Dimple Kapadia and Himesh Patel.

Washington, Jan 11: Fresh off his win at the Golden Globes, actor Joaquin Phoenix participated in a climate change protest and was arrested by the police.

The "Joker" star took part in the weekly protests against climate change, started by Hollywood veteran Jane Fonda.

According to Variety, the 45-year-old actor also addressed the crowd of close to 300 people.

In his short speech, he took aim at the meat and dairy industry for being the third leading cause of the climate crisis.

"Sometimes we wonder what can we do in this fight against climate change, and there is something that you can do today and tomorrow, by making a choice about what you consume," Phoenix said.

"There are things I can't avoid. I flew a plane here today, or last night rather, but one thing I can do is change my eating habits," he added.

Besides Phoenix, veteran Hollywood star Martin Sheen also turned up for the protest and got arrested by the police. Actors Maggie Gyllenhaal and Susan Sarandon were also present.

Capitol Police said it arrested 147 people who were charged with crowding, obstructing or incommoding. All the protestors were later released.

Fonda, who was on stage with Phoenix, called him "one of the greatest living actors today".

She has been protesting weekly as part of her "Fire Drill Fridays" initiative since announcing she was moving to Washington "to be closer to the epicenter of the fight for our climate." Her participation has ended in multiple arrests.

Earlier this month, Phoenix had talked about climate change at the Golden Globes ceremony, asking Hollywood to walk the talk on the issue.
