What do celebrities do when they have to field some weird questions from the media and fans. The hypothetical questions are the worst of the lot, we would assume.

Recently, while Abhishek Bachchan was live in the 92.7 Big FM studio in Mumbai, he was asked whom would he choose if asked to pick between his daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai.

To give full credit to Abhishek, he took the question seriously and came up with the quote of the week.

He responded: “No father on the earth can ever answer a question like that. Both are an integral part of my life and I need both of them to complete me.”

Kudos to Abhishek for not responding with a corny line but answering straight from the heart.

Abhishek has definitely come of age when it comes to handling the media.

Ever since the circus around Aishwarya's weight issues have begun, he has mostly stayed away from making too many comments about both Aishwarya and his daughter. But when he has commented, the world has listened.

He was quite understandably upset over the 'insensitive' comments made about his wife and the mother of his daughter over the fact that she wasn't losing her post-pregnancy weight soon enough.

Later when he was asked why they were hiding Aaradhya's looks from the world, he quite clearly said that his daughter was not a commodity to be displayed to the world.

Aaradhya's father spoke candidly about the family's intentions regarding the precious Beti B.

Both Abhishek and Aishwarya feel that their eight-month-old daughter is not an "item to be displayed". They claim they have not been hiding their daughter since her birth on November 16, 2011, but, at the same time, they don't want to show off their daughter to the public or release images. They want to give their daughter a normal childhood.

"I am not comfortable with that, I don't need to show her off. She is not an item that she has to be put up to display. She is a child and Aishwarya and I would like her to grow up as normal as possible,"

Father Abhishek probably understands what Aaradhya is likely to face all her life. After all, he too is a star son, considering that he is the offspring of Bollywood stalwarts like Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan. He told the news agency: "I do understand that her parents and grandparents are public figures but she is not yet and let her enjoy that. I have grown up in this industry and have been in this position so I understand the curiosity."

Meanwhile, Aishwarya has taken a long hiatus from acting and has been looking after her daughter's needs from Day 1.

Aishwarya and Abhishek did not even hire a nanny for their baby. Abhishek spends quality time with the baby when Aishwarya has to make a rare appearance to keep her brand endorsement commitments or a social-do that she cannot ignore.

Junior Bachchan does not mince his words and he should be lauded for the stand that he has taken so far.

Mumbai, Jun 19: The Mumbai Police, probing the   case of alleged suicide of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has sent a letter to Yash Raj Films, seeking details of the contracts it had signed with him, an official said on Friday.

Rajput, 34, known for films like Kai Po Che!, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Chhichhore, was found hanging in his Bandra apartment on Sunday, sending shockwaves in the film industry and elsewhere.

"Police are investigating various angles, including that of professional rivalry, in the case," the official said. So far, Bandra police have recorded the statements of over 13 people, including Rajput's family members and close friends like actor Rhea Chakraborty and casting director Mukesh Chhabra.

"Keeping in view the professional angle, police have started calling some prominent production houses for inquiry. As part of that, police on Thursday sent a letter to Yash Raj Films, seeking details of all the contracts it had signed with the deceased actor," a senior police officer said.

"We have also asked for the copies of the contracts that Yash Raj Films had signed with the actor," he added.

In the next few days, police may also call those people, who had played a role in signing of contracts between the actor and the production houses for their projects, the officer said.

Rajput had worked in two Yash Raj Films movies - Shuddh Desi Romance (2013) directed by Maneesh Sharma and in director Dibakar Banerjee directed Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015).

His third film with the banner was supposed to be Paani, directed by Shekhar Kapur. However, YRF had reportedly backed out of the project later.

New Delhi, Jan 11: The Delhi High Court on Saturday restrained from releasing Deepika Padukone-starrer 'Chhapaak' movie without due credits to the lawyer who represented the acid attack survivor, Lakshmi Agarwal, in her legal battle.

The restraint will be effective from January 15 in multiplexes and live streaming and for others from January 17.

The court directed filmmaker Meghna Gulzar to give due credit to lawyer Aparna Bhat who fought the criminal case for the acid survivor on whose life the movie is based.

It passed the order on a petition filed by Fox Studio challenging a trial court order which had directed the filmmakers to give credit to Bhat.

Delhi's Patiala House Court had earlier this week passed an order granting an ex-parte interim mandatory injunction directed that the filmmaker has to carry a line "Aparna Bhat continues to fight cases of sexual and physical violence against women" during the screening of the film.

Fox Studios then requested the Delhi High Court to set aside the trial court order.

The petitioner submitted that if the order passed in a suit filed just one day before the release of the film, is not vacated, varied or modified, then the petitioner will suffer grave injustice and irreparable harm and injury.

The movie, which hit the cinemas yesterday, is based on Laxmi's life. In 2005, at the age of 15, she was allegedly attacked by a spurned lover.

Laxmi had to undergo several surgeries. Later, she started helping other acid attack survivors and promoted campaigns to stop such gruesome attacks.

Agartala, May 28: Tripura Police has registered a complaint against Bangladeshi singer Mainul Ahsan Nobel, who earned fame in the music reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' in Kolkata, for allegedly humiliating Prime Minister Narendra Modi over social media.

The complaint was filed by a resident of Belonia town in South Tripura district who is a student of Pandit Deen Dayal Petroleum University at Gandhinagar in Gujarat.

The complaint was filed on May 25, the person who is called Suman Paul said.

Nobel is not yet a popular singer in Bangladesh and has always been rejected by the audience of that country. He participated in the TV music reality show called Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in Kolkata, earned money, gained fame and returned to Bangladesh. If the person insults our prime minister it cannot be accepted. So I filed the FIR, Paul told reporters.

Belonia superintendent of police Jal Singh Meena confirmed that the complaint was registered and forwarded to Tripura Polices cyber crime cell.

The complaint was registered the same day it was filed at Belonia police station under Indian Penal code sections 500 (punishment for defamation), 504 (intentional insult), 505 (public mischief) and the IT Act.

We have registered the complaint and forwarded it to the cybercrime cell because it is not in the Indian cyberspace. We have started an investigation into the issue, the SP said.

Rajib Dutta, the officer-in-charge of Belonia police station said that as per the complaint the Bangladeshi singer had abused Modi in a Facebook post calling him a "mere chaiwala (tea seller)'.
