Pooja has taken big risk by taking me in 'Jism 2': Sunny Leone

sunnyAdult movie star Sunny Leone feels actress-director Pooja Bhatt has taken a big risk by casting her in 'Jism 2'.

"I think Pooja took a bigger risk than me by casting me in the film. I am happy that I got this film and I think I have done my best. I hope people will like it," Sunny told PTI in an interview.

Leone's participation in controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss' led to her entry in Bollywood. She will be seen in erotic thriller 'Jism 2', directed by Pooja Bhatt. Sunny is paired opposite Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda in the movie, releasing this Friday.

The American actress said working in a mainstream film like 'Jism 2' was quite different than featuring in an adult movie and the intimate scenes in the movie were in context to the story.

"In fact the challenging part was not to blink in close-up shots, and Pooja wanted me to do it perfectly. Being in an adult film is completely different from mainstream films," she said. For Sunny, learning Hindi became a bit easier. "I had voice and dialogue coaches every day for hours. The easiest thing was lines as I spent months learning Hindi, which I had never done earlier. Speaking Hindi became easier for me than my body movements," she said.

Sunny has a production house (Sun Lust Pictures) based in the US, and even if she is not there, the company will continue to exist. "I have a production company that will always be there. I am not in the movies but my company releases it all the time. This year probably I am not going to do a movie there as I am here in India," she said.

"My production company releases three to five films a month. We produce, direct and distribute adult material to countries where it is allowed," she added.

New Delhi, Jan 9: A Delhi court Thursday directed the makers of the Deepika Padukone starer feature film 'Chhapaak' to give credit to acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal’s lawyer in the movie.

Additional Civil Judge Pankaj Sharma said it was necessary that advocate Aparna Bhat's contribution is acknowledged.

"This Court is of the considered view that facts are indicative that the plea of the plaintiff for interim injunction is well-founded and it is necessary that her contribution be acknowledged by providing on the slide on the actual footage and the images, the line 'Aparna Bhat continues to fight the cases of sexual and physical violence against women' during the screening of the film.

"The said line on screen maybe with a rider that the same is with the court order," the judge said.

Advocate Bhat filed the application saying that despite representing Agarwal in courts for several years and helping in the movie-making, she was not given credit in the movie.

She said the filmmakers took her help in the entire process of writing and shooting the movie, but did not give the credit.

To feed the affected people in Mumbai, the food truck with the words ''Being Haangryy'' written on it, was seen in Mumbai roads on Wednesday, where volunteers are providing huge bags of ration. A long queue of people was standing near the truck to get the essentials.

However, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor has not announced this initiative himself on his personal social media accounts.

The Sultan actor is staying at his Panvel farmhouse with his nephew Nirvaan Khan and other family members ever since the lockdown was announced.

Earlier, the 54-year-old actor urged people to take up the ''Anna Daan'' challenge and donate to the underprivileged ones who are worst affected by the COVID-19 lockdown.

After urging people to take up the ''Anna Daan'' challenge, the actor posted a video on Twitter, that features him and Iulia Vantur, Jacqueline Fernandez among others loading the bags filled with ration on to a truck.

Khan actively posts videos on his social media handles to raise awareness about the importance of social distancing during COVID-19.
