Suicide victim imitated Jiah Khan

Jiah_KhanJaipur, Jun 15: A personal diary belonging to a 26-year-old suicide victim in Udaipur has revealed that she was following in the footsteps of actor Jiah Khan.

Equating her problems with those of the actress, the woman wrote in her diary that Jiah Khan took the easiest step to get rid of problems and she was following suit.

According to the police, the deceased, Sneha Sharma, had hanged herself at her in-laws' house in Govardhan Vilas on June 10. Sneha had two years ago married one Uttam Sharma, who is undergoing pilot training in Delhi.

"During investigation, we found a personal diary and two letters which she wrote prior to her suicide," an officer said.

The officer said that in the diary, she referred to Bollywood actress Jiah Khan's suicide.

"Sneha wrote that what appeared to everyone was not true and that she has been cheated," said the officer.

Further investigation is on.

She had over 1.1 million followers on TikTok and 113k followers on Instagram.

Washington, May 26: Making a slight change to the name of their newborn, Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his singer girlfriend Grimes have now named their first child X AE A-Xii.

The difference is only in the numeral part of the name which is now written in the Roman format.

Earlier this month, the celebrity couple hogged headlines for naming their son X AE A-12.

The change in the name came when an Instagram follower of the Canadian singer asked if she had considered changing the name of the child and she replied with, "X AE A-Xii."

However, the performer didn't provide further insight concerning the reason behind the change.

Canadian singer Grimes gave birth to her first child on May 4.

The 32-year-old had earlier taken to Twitter and explained the meaning of the baby's name.

Chennai, Jul 30: Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli on Wednesday said he and his family members have tested positive for coronavirus and are currently quarantined at home.

The director, best known for his epic fantasy hit Baahubali series, said they got tested after they developed mild fever recently which subsided by itself.

“My family members and I developed a slight fever few days ago. It subsided by itself but we got tested nevertheless. The result has shown a mild COVID positive today. We have home quarantined as prescribed by the doctors (sic)” he said.

In a subsequent tweet, Rajamouli said he and his kin are asymptomatic and “feeling better”. They are, however, following all the precautions and instructions.

“Just waiting to develop antibodies so that we can donate our plasma,” he added.

Before the coronavirus-induced nationwide lockdown was announced in March, the filmmaker was working on his upcoming period action drama Rise Roar Revolt.

The Telugu film, featuring actors Ram Charan and NTR Jr in the lead, is a fictional tale based on the lives of two freedom fighters in early 20th century.

Andhra Pradesh witnessed its worst single day spike of coronavirus on Wednesday, 10,000 plus cases, as the other southern states, including Tamil Nadu and Karnataka also reported high daily numbers, although they saw a dip in the infections.

The cumulative tally of southern states — AP, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala and the Union Territory of Puducherry was 24,855 on Wednesday.
